'Effective, efficient security with the value and scale you need, when you need it’

FireEye, Inc. is a publicly listed enterprise cyber security company that provides products and services to help business and government organizations prepare for, prevent, and respond to advanced cyber attacks. The company offers a platform that blends innovative security technologies, nation-state grade threat intelligence, and world-renowned Mandiant® consulting to protect the most valuable assets in the world from those who have them in their sights. Working as a seamless,
scalable extension of customer security operations, FireEye eliminates the complexity and burden of cyber defense by integrating, automating and simplifying security resources. Founded in 2004, the company is headquartered in Milpitas,California. FireEye has over 5,300 customers across 67 countries, including more than 825 of the Forbes Global 2000.

Plan for risks that other companies never consider
FireEye started with a switch-based network access control appliance, and soon evolved to incorporating the company’s patented MVX (Multi-vector Virtual Execution) engine – which detonates and analyzes suspected threats in a fully secured, realistic virtual environment – into the core of its security platform.

FireEye’s products and services are designed to detect, analyze, prevent and respond to known and never-before-seen cyber attacks, unlike traditional anti virus (AV) and firewalls that are easily bypassed by attackers. FireEye doesn’t rely on signature-based defenses that can produce a barrage of undifferentiated security alerts, but instead leverages advanced technology and intelligence that help customers identify connections between alerts, prioritize alerts, and get actionable and contextual intelligence for rapid remediation.

Future-ready next-gen threat protection
As the cyber threat landscape has evolved, FireEye has kept pace. FireEye acquired Mandiant in 2013, and today, Mandiant’s consulting and incident response experts are an integral part of FireEye’s integrated security platform. The insights gained from this team’s work on the front lines of today’s most important cyber attacks help guide the development of FireEye’s portfolio of products and services.

FireEye acquired nPulse Technologies in 2014 to deliver enterprise forensics from the endpoint and provide visibility across the entire attack lifecycle. The acquisition gave FireEye a broader perspective and enabled the company to offer a more comprehensive threat management platform. FireEye further broadened its reach and resources with two more acquisitions in 2016 – iSIGHT Partners, a leading provider of threat intelligence, and Invotas, an expert in security automation and orchestration. Today, FireEye offers the most comprehensive intelligence network in the industry and products that help customers automate their increasingly complex security operations. These developments help FireEye address increasingly critical security challenges. Technology is outpacing the world’s ability to secure it. Despite substantial spending on legacy security products, advanced attackers are bypassing these defenses at will and spreading unchallenged, leading to breaches that affect governments, businesses, nations and individuals in costly ways. While there is no single technical answer, FireEye is a significant resource in the cyber security battle. By catching an incident early, security teams can reduce the overall impact – costly fixes, disrupted business, stolen intellectual property, and tarnished reputations. FireEye offers a tailored mix of technology, intelligence and expertise in an efficient platform to thoroughly and proactively plan for and respond to cyber attacks.
