Offering Widely Deployed Solutions to Enterprise, Mid-market and Public Sector Companies for 16 Years: Netreo Inc.

image

“Headquartered in Irvine, CA, USA, Netreo Inc. sells and supports customers worldwide, with distribution partners in the UK and Vietnam providing local sales and support to those markets.”

Netreo Inc. was established in 2000 as a premier provider of IT management solutions for public and private sector organizations in numerous vertical market segments including education, banking, healthcare and retail. Netreo introduced the first 100% web-based network management platform in 2001, and its OmniCenter® core product was awarded Monitoring / Testing Product of the Year by Network Computing UK in 2016. Since its inception, the company’s customer retention rate is greater than 95%.

“We are proud to say that 100% of our Software is designed, programmed, tested, and supported in the United States. We do not outsource support or development to any foreign country,” said Kevin Kinsey, CEO.

‘Visualize. Manage. Understand.’
Netreo’s market positioning can be best described by its Tagline, which is ‘Visualize. Manage. Understand.’ “By ‘Visualize’, we mean that the whole idea behind OmniCenter is to provide users with a single-pane-of-glass visibility into the entire enterprise, in a unified, real-time dashboard. ‘Manage’ refers to our incident management capabilities, which are robust. Root-cause, automatic event correlation, and anomaly detection are embedded functionalities. ‘Understand’ references our reporting capabilities, which provide 3 years trending and predictive data to enable the right decisions,” explained Kevin. “We do all of this in a way no one else can: cheaper, faster, and easier.”

Netreo has always been a heavily customer-focused company, providing relentless support and fast, capable response to clients. This feedback is then immediately integrated into product development, allowing it to rapidly respond to changing market conditions and individual customer needs, often in days or weeks where competitors can take months to years.

The OmniCenter® Application
OmniCenter is an appliance-based – either virtual, cloud-hosted, or hardware – management application that incorporates fault and performance management, application performance monitoring (APM), Unified communications (VoIP) monitoring and performance analysis, alerting, reporting (real-time and scheduled), troubleshooting tools, and device configuration management – all in a single web-based dashboard that’s easy to use from anywhere.

The OmniCenter® core product is offered in a simple, low-cost, no-commitment subscription pricing model, and can be scaled up or down to support virtually any environment. Unlike many of its
competitors, Netreo supports the product directly, up to and including turnkey deployment, monthly ongoing configuration tuning and impact reports, and direct access to dedicated systems engineers. This makes OmniCenter the ideal solution for any IT organization that depends on mission-critical IT, but does not have full-time dedicated employees to deploy, install, and manage a network management solution.

Serving a Vast Clientele
The company operates across a broad spectrum of clients, with a special emphasis on clients who rely on mission-critical networks, such as financial, retail, education, and government / public safety. The customer base includes dozens of Fortune 1000 and critical availability accounts, including: San Francisco Department of Public Health, AON, Wells Fargo, University of California at Irvine, Broadcom, Association of Central Oklahoma Governments 9-1-1, Greater Harris County 9-1-1, CVS/Caremark, Airespring, Caremore, Celgene, Golden State Foods, Orange County Department of Education, Marvel Entertainment, Mitsubishi Motors, Smart and Final Stores, Tyco, Ventura County Office of Education and Welch’s Foods.

Client Speaks
Cory Mason, Chief Information Officer for Twin Disc tells it this way: “Our facilities in the Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific depend on our IT team to deliver continuous, reliable enterprise systems performance. Information Technology is like an electric utility to them – they assume it’s always going to be there when they need it, and they depend on that assurance. So, we have to fully leverage every second of our available IT staff hours by having the right technology tools to maximize our effectiveness. OmniCenter is the core of this strategy.”

Looking Beyond the Horizon
Netreo’s development is focused on continually reducing the administrative burden of network management, providing easy to learn, simple to use, and yet powerful management products. The most recent development projects focus on providing centralized visibility into public and private hybrid cloud environments and distributed performance monitoring for public-facing web applications.

“Our OmniCenter® core product is offered in a simple, low-cost, no-commitment subscription pricing model, and can be scaled up or down to support virtually any environment.”
