The TaskUs Story
Business partners and friends since high school, Bryce Maddock and Jaspar Weir founded TaskUs in 2008. It was initially a virtual personal assistant company, but with time it transformed into an international outsourcing organization that employs thousands of employees around the globe.
Based on the experiences with the Philippines, the duo opened their first office in Manila in 2009. While working on the virtual assistant business, each quickly realized that the service they were offering to busy professionals was much more in demand for a rapidly growing business. With a team in place and a new vision for changing the way work gets done, TaskUs was born.
It didn’t take long for the most innovative companies in the world to come knocking to seek out TaskUs’ unique focus on transformational growth and the entrepreneurial, creative spaces from which these businesses originate. Today, many of these companies trust TaskUs with their vital business processes so that they can concentrate on meaningful innovation.
TaskUs is the secret behind the phenomenal scaling of some of the world’s most disruptive companies. The companywas born on the web and grew up in the cloud allowing us to guide businesses strategically towards transformational growth. Rapid scaling is its forte. TaskUs doesn’t subscribe to outdated legacy systems or old-fashioned processes. It believes that cutting-edge technology enables organizations to revolutionize the customer experience.
