Shylaja Chandrasekar, CEO - Carrying 15 years of experience, Shylaja joined Secure Application as CEO in the year 2008 and proved herself in the following areas:

Replaced founders and integrated $50M acquired business into mainstream global business while improving efficiency by 40%. She scaled up the company to be the largest Security Testing Company in South India.

Persuaded ideas to create new businesses, bootstrapped several new products & services from the ground up into profitability, collectively valued at $70M. A driving force behind success through combination of sound business practices, leadership and expertise related to growing business through developing services around software products, she led major turnaround of applications business through extensive market research, innovation resulted–revenue growth from $25M to $40 within 5 years.

Shylaja led product platform strategy, created unified architecture, and reduced number of platforms from 7 to 2 and created a new mobility product platform while delivering 2x more products. Also, co-invented a new product platform and business model for eliminating efforts on post-sales support, enabling rapid product development and reduced 17% software warranty cost of multi-billion dollar product line over 3 years.

Well that’s not all to her credit, she successfully reduced employee turnover from 25 percent to less than 5 percent through innovation & entrepreneurship. On Educational front, she holds MBA HR from university of Madras. She has also completed her CISA in 2010.
