Take Your Supply Chain Traceability to the Next Level: Acsis

thesiliconreview-jeremy-coote-ceo-acsis-2018Acsis has specialized in lightweight, cost-effective solutions that fill visibility gaps in supply chain execution. The company’s “edge” applications manage the data collection and serialization of goods across extended supply networks, feeding and synchronizing ERP and execution systems automatically. Customers are able to gain significant savings in material costs, reduce their inventory levels and waste, improve resource productivity and process efficiency, and eliminate noncompliance risks (and fines).

Acsis Solutions

At Acsis, 20 years of experience have driven us to find faster, more cost-effective ways to fill visibility gaps in supply chain execution. Its lightweight solutions help companies manage the data collection and serialization of goods across extended supply networks, feeding and synchronizing ERP and execution systems automatically.

All Acsis solutions are built on the Acsis Platform, which organizes transactions and activities at the execution level and provides real-time, bi-directional data capture with a secure hand-off to internal systems.

Edge & Serialization

Acsis solutions span from the application of serial numbers at packaging to the tracing of product to and beyond the warehouse edge. With comprehensive functionality and deep industry expertise, its solutions enable fully-serialized warehouse processes to meet DSCSA mandates for traceability. Acsis provides a seamless execution view that integrates with ERP, EPCIS and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to improve productivity.

Acsis Edge

Acsis Edge is its specialized Warehouse Execution System that manages data collection and labeling for material tracking.

Rather than duplicating the ERP functionality you already have, Acsis Edge combines the comprehensive warehouse capabilities you need with best practices to lower the cost and risk of your project. With Acsis, you can trace any serialized or non-serialized item, from the time it arrives at the receiving dock, as it moves between bins or warehouses, as it is used in production, to the time it is picked, packed, and shipped out the door.

Supplier & Partner Integration

Acsis solves the problems of visibility of product movement and synchronization of systems across extended supply partners.

With Acsis Supplier & Partner Integration, you can exchange data with your partners using technology they already have – from a web portal to automated data capture systems. This eliminates the need for special training and allows partners to communicate directly with your ERP system for a secure and synchronized system of record across the entire supply network.

Acsis Hardware: Speed. Simplicity. Scalability

As a global value-added reseller of hardware and print media, Acsis can provide turnkey, scalable solutions that will support your supply chain processes. Whether you are looking for vision systems or product marking solutions for the packaging line, barcode scanners or RFID readers in the warehouse and distribution area, or even GPS and temperature devices in the logistics and transportation areas, Acsis has a strategic partner that can meet your needs.

Let us reduce the time, effort and costs related to choosing and deploying hardware with:

  • Definition of hardware specifications and guidance during the selection process, relying on its 20 years of experience to ensure you choose the optimal products for your business needs
  • Testing and configuration of each hardware product with your Acsis solutions before delivery
  • A single 24/7 help desk for both software and hardware support
  • Discounted pricing
  • Spare pool management

Customer Success Story

American Health Packaging Ensures DSCSA Compliance with Acsis Edge for Pharma

Acsis, a leading provider of supply chain serialization solutions, today announced that American Health Packaging (AHP), a part of AmerisourceBergen, has successfully deployed Acsis Edge for Pharma for end-to-end management of warehouse transactions and tracking of serialized items from receipt through shipping.

With Acsis Edge for Pharma, AHP has accelerated the path to compliance with the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) and streamlined serialization, data collection, and management. Through the seamless integration of scanner-captured data and the automation of shipping processes, AHP has realized immediate efficiency gains, including a reduction in cycle count time and several hours saved in shipping-related processes each week.

In AHP’s warehouse environment, product movement was tracked on paper and then manually entered into the company’s ERP system. Such manual processes did not support AHP’s transition from a batch-based solution to the fully serialized supply chain that the company needed to meet DSCSA mandates. To address its serialization and compliance challenges, AHP selected Acsis line-level serialization for its 10 packaging lines and Acsis Edge for Pharma for the association and integration of all data, both serialized and non-serialized.

“After a thorough evaluation, we discovered that Acsis Edge for Pharma provided a significant base from a solution standpoint and the Acsis team had the breadth of experience to tailor the solution to meet the nuances of our business model. With Acsis, we could deploy quickly to meet the DSCSA mandates and maximize the return we would see in productivity and efficiency,” said Rick Knight, President of AHP.
