thesiliconreview-gary-miliefsky-ceo-snoopwall-17‘Next-Generation Internal Security for Networks, Mobile Devices and Apps.’

SnoopWall, Inc. is the world’s first breach prevention company with patented intranet intrusion prevention appliances called “NetSHIELD® deployed in 32 countries. The company also offers patented mobile security softwares for BYOD, called “MobileSHIELD®and “WinSHIELD®with a software developer toolkit used by over 100 financial institutions called “AppSHIELD® SDK”. SnoopWall’s mission is to be a trusted provider of cost effective, proactive security solutions to enhance organizations cyber-risk mitigation strategies.

AppSHIELD® SDK is a patented and innovative cloaking technology that is used to protect mobile banking and credit union applications with features for protecting mobile wallets as well as retail apps on Apple iOS, Google Android and Microsoft Windows. It helps protect these apps against current and future threats, automatically, while not impacting the consumer experience.   App developers integrate with this specialized security toolkit in a few days and then redeploy their more secure application quickly and easily on the iTunes and Play stores.

Most breaches happen behind firewalls on equipment protected by antivirus. Rogue devices, malicious insiders, the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) dilemma, spear phishing attacks, zero-day malware and ransomware bypass most security countermeasures. SnoopWall has solved these problems with patented next generation technology that detects and blocks all rogue network access, remote control, eavesdropping and spying. SnoopWall’s software products and hardware appliances are all made in the U.S.A and sold through channel partners throughout the globe. Founded in 2013, the company is located in Nashua, New Hampshire.

NetSHIELD: Securing your network from the inside out

NetSHIELD delivers a rich feature set of agentless network access control (NAC) and critical intranet security that firewalls and AV solutions do not address & where 95% of today’s breaches occur. Additionally, zero-hour malware and phishing attack real-time quarantine, mac-spoof detection, TLD blocking, comprehensive auditing, vulnerability assessments, and compliance reporting & enforcement make this a comprehensive and compelling offering. The NetSHIELD solution is available as a hardware appliance that scale from 25 to 10,000 protected assets per appliance. In addition, an embedded command center allows administrators to manage up to 1000 remote sites.

MobileSHIELD: Enabling safer BYOD on Android & iOS

SnoopWall’s patented MobileSHIELD agent is deployed and administered via the NetSHIELD Command Center. MobileSHIELD ensures BYOD flexibility by enabling owner control over device settings, applications and application privileges while not connected to corporate network resources. Administrator control over device settings, applications, application privileges, ports and mobile data connectivity is defined and enforced while mobile devices and tablets are connected to corporate networks. Think of MobileSHIELD (and WinSHIELD) as a port authority that protects against spying and eavesdropping on corporate networks.

WinSHIELD: Control and secure Windows devices connected to corporate networks

WinSHIELD is designed to secure Windows® laptops, desktops and servers by enabling administrative control over device settings, applications and application privileges while connected to corporate network resources. Administrator control over device settings, applications, application privileges, ports and data connectivity is defined and enforced while desktops, laptops/netbooks, tablets and servers are connected to corporate networks. WinSHIELD may be deployed on any Windows device or tablet to enhance corporate IT security oversight and control.

AppSHIELD: Helping you secure your mobile apps

SnoopWall’s patents-pending AppShield™ SDK can secure any mobile app on all major platforms. AppShield SDK acts as an application & port authority which makes your app invisible to any other app on the mobile device. With 24/7/365 active monitoring, regular updates and a dedicated team of cybersecurity experts, you can be assured that your app’s security and customer data are safe, providing a non-intrusive customer experience.

Additionally, the company’s new solution AppCRUSHER makes Cloud based Mobile Application Auditing possible and helps the client’s customers to be one step ahead of the next threat. Last year, SnoopWall was able to show how easily mobile apps can be exploited by mobile malware including mBanking, mRetail and mWallet apps. Without SnoopWall’s AppSHIELD SDK, over 100 financial institutions today would be easily hacked and consumers would suffer identity theft.

There is simply no solution on the market today that reaches the INFOSEC capabilities for Counterveillance and App hardening as the AppSHIELD SDK from SnoopWall. AppCRUSHER proves that SnoopWall is the winner, after showing vulnerabilities in the top competition including Trusteer, by IBM.

Aiming to become a future market leader

SnoopWall will remain focused on providing solutions aimed at cyber-risk mitigation through its proactive set of solutions aimed at ensuring critical security from the inside out. The company hopes to grow into a market leader in the SME and SMB marketplace by providing a compelling and cost effective breach prevention solution to its existing and future global customer base.
