thesiliconreview-w-spencer-askew-ceo-teknowlogi-2018Logistics is considered as the backbone of the economy. It provides an efficient and cost-effective flow of goods on which several other commercial sectors depend. Emerging, mature and international markets are now a critical part of the growth strategy of a vast number of companies serving in the logistics space.

In today’s era, technology is evolving at an unprecedented pace. Over the years, technology has blessed numerous sectors with its competence. Now, it’s time for the logistics industry to follow the trend and move towards a more technological future. And it has become imperative for companies to manage their logistics with the high-end solutions available.

Every company in the industry can-and-should operates as the perfect version of itself at all times. So, in order to build and deliver the top-notch solutions that would make this possible, in 2005, Teknowlogi was founded.

We Know Logistics - Teknowlogi

Headquartered in Kennesaw, GA, Teknowlogi is a pioneer of Logistics Expert System (LES), a new breed of advanced technology platform category. It is also the creator of Tai, the industry’s only cloud-based solution that combines transportation management systems (TMS), mobile intelligence (MI), integration intelligence (II), consulting intelligence (CI), business intelligence (BI) and artificial intelligence (AI) in one platform.

Addressing a current long-felt but unresolved need for a technology platform that can analyze millions of data variables in real time, Teknowlogi’s mission is to enable every organization within the logistics industry to operate without a flaw. Providing the smarter solution for the logistics industry, the company enhances and changes processes within the complicated and multi-party global shipping and logistics industry.

“We are focused on delivering ongoing business value, high-quality customer service, and support, as well as an easy-to-consume platform and pricing model.”

Proving Worthiness

Taking a long hard look at what Teknowlogi had done to package all of the logistics industry expertise and knowledge gained over the years, the witty mind, W. Spencer Askew started seeking for all the possible ways to continue the advancement of the organization well into the future.

Being a person who is always curious about solving problems, Spencer’ small internal mental Q&A session became a significant factor in rebranding of the business, the creation of Tai, industry’s first Artificial Intelligence and Consulting Intelligence based platform, which also led to the creation of the Logistics Expert System (LES) platform capability. It is the only and most relevant acronym that embodies the intelligence and execution capabilities that Tai has brought to the market enabling all industry legacy software platforms to upgrade without having to replace any of the current software systems in use today.

Successfully delivering the solutions helping the logistics industry in identifying problems, analyzing better alternatives, and reacting on-the-fly to changing conditions; Teknowlogi has continued to refine its internal systems and processes to operate more efficiently.

Over the years, the company’s software platform has evolved from a workflow and automation based system to a hyper-intelligent platform with a tremendous amount of logistics industry expertise pre-built into its core DNA and capabilities. Coupled with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, Teknowlogi today has a 4 Trillion-dollar logistics industry’s first Logistics Expert System (LES).

Customer Centricity - The Catalyst for Success

Exists to enable organizations to operate as the perfect version of themselves at all times, Teknowlogi continues to build product functionality that moves the needle for its customers across the industry regardless of their size.

Being a customer centric firm, Teknowlogi’s customers play a critical role in the company’s consistent growth. This has contributed to very solid YoY growth for the business, created a very predictable business model and set the foundation nicely for the company to have yet its biggest and highest growth, as it progresses into 2018 and beyond.

“One main area of growth contribution has come from our customers. They have become one of our largest sales channels in promoting our solutions to other organizations throughout the industry.”

The Future Sight

From an industry perspective, one of the main driving and motivating factors for Teknowlogi is the way the company sees the industry at-large, as it is still somewhat fragmented compared to other industries that have embraced technology and automation and machine-based intelligence. Teknowlogi believes that this is simply unacceptable and it strives each day to deliver and affect change for its clients and its industry.

Aiming to become the largest provider of Intelligence software for the entire logistics industry on a global scale, the company will continue to design, build, communicate and deliver to the industry the most relevant and practical intelligent Logistics Expert System. Also, in 2018, the company is planning to deliver the next-gen version of Tai, which will make the logistics industry’s ability to consume Tai and upgrade their current logistics software to a Logistics Expert System even easier and more IT friendly.
