Markus Bolton | Joint CEO

Markus has 35 years of experience in the software industry and has specialized in healthcare informatics since 1993. He founded System C Healthcare (1983), Shearwater Healthcare Investments (2012) and Shearwater Systems (2013) and is an investor in and director of the shared care record specialist Graphnet Health. Markus has worked at various stages of company development including start-up, early investment, IPO and exit as well as having considerable experience of mergers and acquisitions.

Markus moved on from System C following its sale to McKesson in 2011 and rejoined as joint CEO when McKesson sold the company to the Symphony Technology Group in 2014. Joint CEO at System C Healthcare.

Ian Denley | Joint CEO

Over twenty-five years' experience in the software industry, with the last fifteen specializing in healthcare. He has considerable experience in leading companies through various cycles of growth and exit including early-stage funding, venture capital funding, IPO, mergers and acquisitions, and trade sales.

Specialties: All aspects of managing and leading companies, particularly in software development and new technologies.
