Subway®, renowned as one of the globe's largest restaurant brands, has revealed a decade-long contract with PepsiCo to furnish beverages across its U.S. establishments, commencing January 1, 2025. This agreement also extends Subway's enduring partnership with Frito-Lay® through 2030, consolidating the brand's U.S. snack and beverage offerings under a single supplier, thus enhancing system-wide efficiency. As per the freshly inked deal, Subway outlets will feature a consumer-centric array of beverages from PepsiCo's diverse portfolio, encompassing renowned brands like Pepsi®, Pepsi® Zero Sugar, MTN DEW®, Starry®, Tropicana®, Lipton®, Aquafina®, and Gatorade®. Additionally, Subway franchisees will have the flexibility to expand their beverage selection, including a broader range of Gatorade options.
This new partnership underscores Subway's unwavering dedication to delivering superior food quality and guest experiences, aligning its beverage offerings with consumer preferences across various demographics. Furthermore, the transition promises added value for franchisees, including the provision of new beverage equipment for restaurants. This ongoing partnership is set to feature joint marketing and media initiatives, showcasing Subway and PepsiCo brands in captivating ways. The transition to PepsiCo products in all U.S. Subway restaurants is slated to commence in 2025, with a gradual rollout over subsequent months. Additionally, PepsiCo currently serves as Subway's beverage provider in various regions worldwide, including Canada, Germany, the Nordics, and the Netherlands, among others.
