10 Fastest Growing BYOD Solution Providers 2016

High Assurance Mobile Access to your Workplace: Route1

‘Unlocking the productivity gains of Enterprise Mobility and BYOD without exposing the organization to the risks of data spillage or malware propagation.’

Route1 Inc. is a world-leader in secure data protection technologies and user authentication for government and enterprise. Route1 solutions enable the workforce to be more productive and more flexible without compromising system access, data-at-rest, or data-in-use.

The Company’s suite of patented enterprise security solutions combines best-in-class authentication, data security and secure communications with streamlined administration tools, running on a proven, trusted infrastructure. From mobile access to business continuity to best-in-class full system encryption, Route1 offers the most effective, affordable methods to secure the digital fortress, while meeting or exceeding the highest standards for government and industry.

Whether accessing data from the field, across offices or between various enterprise platforms or systems, today’s mobile and deployed users need access to critical information resources quickly and conveniently at all times. Yet, with the ever-increasing threats of cyber theft and infiltration, protecting data from unauthorized users is paramount. New users are constantly being introduced to enterprise networks and they are connecting to intelligence data from offsite laptops and hand-held devices. In the new world of cyber warfare, traditional security models of authentication and credentials (such as username and password, access cards or embedded keys) are costly to administer and manage. And they are not always effective in preventing a breach of networks.

With Route1 as their provider, large organizations achieve greater efficiency and higher productivity – while enjoying the peace of mind that comes from knowing that their data is being protected by leading-edge cryptographic technology. With offices in Washington, D.C., Boca Raton, FL and Toronto, Canada, Route1 serves public and private sector clients around the world.

Route1 has Full Authority to Operate from the U.S. Department of Defense, the U.S. Department of the Navy, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Department of the Interior, and other government agencies. The Company is also trusted by enterprise security teams in the banking, healthcare, legal and education sectors, among others. Founded in 2004, Route1 uses The Power of MobiNET, its patented communications and service delivery platform. The MobiNET provides information assurance and individualized access to networks and data.

The MobiKEY Solution
Route1 believes that in designing an answer to the secure mobility challenge, the technology you deploy should:

Authenticate. Prior to providing any access or entitlements to an employee, mobile worker or contractor, they first must be authenticated by not less than two factors – “something you have” and “something you know”. Preferably, the “something you have” is discrete and separate from the device you are using for the remote access data session.

Secure the fortress. Accessing data when you are remote does not mean that data needs to be pulled to (or transferred to) the remote device you are working from. Data is best protected, and the network secured, when there is no movement of the data outside of the enterprise network.

Reduce costs. Many will have you believe that better data security increases your IT cost structure, which is simply not true.

MobiKEY: The MobiKEY platform combines the strength of a PKI technology with the trust and flexibility of multi-factor authentication, meeting the stringent security mandates and policies established by governments, defense organizations and commercial enterprises.

MobiNET: The MobiNET is a universal identity management and service delivery platform that confirms the identities of individual users and their entitlement to access specific applications, data or resources.

Consistent and accurate identification of the individual or the entity significantly reduces the burden of securing access. Since authentication is inherently addressed by the MobiNET platform, IT managers can focus instead on what individuals are authorized to access – where they can go within the network and what they can do there.

MobiENCRYPT: MobiENCRYPT is the cost-effective way to protect your organization against data-at-rest security breaches and losses. It delivers remote and local on-the-fly full disk encryption (FDE) using pre-boot multi-factor authentication.
