What motivated you to start the company?

With over 30 years of combined business and consulting experience I determined there was a gap in the SAP consulting space. Most SAP centric consulting firms either focused on new SAP implementations, upgrades, and rollouts or Application Managed Services. This provided a unique opportunity for us to focus on business user enablement solutions specifically in the Data Quality, Business Process Automation, and point solution space.

Tell us about your first product that was launched?

Data Validation ManagementTM (DVM) was our first product offering. Every SAP project is challenged with verifying the accuracy of the data migration process from legacy systems to SAP. Most often this is a costly process of manually verifying data based on a statistical sample. Manual verification is laborious and error prone. Additionally, seldom are users available to perform these tasks due to competing demands on their time. DVM reduces the cost of data validation, helps improve the quality of iterative data loads as one progresses through project phases, and provides “known good data” for the Integration Test Team. DVM is designed to be used by functional business analysts who know the data and own the data.

You have several very specific solutions. How do you determine what solutions to develop?

We listen closely to our clients. When we identify business pain points that are similar in nature across multiple clients and industries we solicit our clients’ feedback around developing a solution to solve a given problem. Many times we will partner with multiple clients as we architect a solution. This gives us the best opportunity to build a solution that is flexible enough to meet the needs of the larger SAP community rather than solving a problem for a single client.

What do you attribute the growth and sustainability of your company to?

It is a combination of our approach to business and our team. We truly partner with our clients to help them achieve their data quality and business process automation goals. And we have a very talented team with incredibly diverse skills from SAP to the Microsoft stack to web development to application development. 

If you have to list five factors that have been/are the biggest asset to your organization, what would they be and why?

Our business ethics and integrity results in our clients viewing us as trusted advisors. Our sincere desire to help our clients. Our talented staff. None of this would be possible without our collective team. Our clients recommend us to others which drives organic growth. Our ability to embrace and adapt to new and changing technologies.

Are there any trigger factors/events/individuals that have played key roles in shaping your organization’s road map?

The products and services we provide today are the direct results of our clients’ needs. We have also adapted to the technological changes of the last 10 years. When we started the business we were just another SAP consulting firm. Now SAP specific consulting is a very small portion of our business. Although most of our clients and the work we do is primarily SAP related we are not limited to SAP. We solve business problems.

What drives/inspires you to excel in your field of business?

A few years ago we solved a major business problem for one of our long-time clients. A few months into them utilizing the solution one of the VP’s of the company told the sponsor of the solution “this is best thing IT has ever done for our company”. That is what we aspire to achieve for all of our clients and that is our motivation.

Do you have any new products ready to be/getting ready to be rolled out into the market?

Yes, we will be introducing a data transformation and load product for SAP in 2Q2017. The product is designed for the functional business analyst to allow them to perform data migration activities and free up the technical programming staff. We have a few other point solutions on the roadmap that will be coming in late 2017 and early 2018.

He has approximately thirty successful SAP go-lives to his credit in a wide variety of industries including Automotive, Aerospace & Defense, High Tech and Life Sciences.
