Among the various security measures and solutions EyeQ provides, the main two that stand out are called ‘risk detection’ and ‘smart lock’.

Risk detection involves using EyeQ's video systems to identify danger — such as strangers or suspicious objects — in buildings, factories, supermarkets, schools, etc. and immediately send out warnings. In order to stop suspicious activities as soon as possible, the EyeQ system is also capable of identifying other types of suspicious acts, such as throwing, stealing, wall-climbing, and more.

The smart lock security works great in crowded cities where motorbike theft has always been a major problem. The EyeQ team has developed a new product called the Smart Lock, which makes use of facial recognition technology. With the help of this technology clients may now effortlessly park their motorcycles in front of stores in just a few seconds.

With the help of EyeQ, a city can be transformed in multiple ways with a traffic measurement and control system that uses intelligent artificial intelligence (AI) camera systems automatically, accurately, and promptly to evaluate traffic volume, alert users to traffic bottlenecks, and identify infractions of traffic laws, such as speeding, running red lights, and failing to wear helmets.

The smart city solutions include detecting leaks, smoke, and fires. Every unit has a fire alarm, with the garage having the most. But occasionally, because fire detection is slow, serious fires may still occur and inflict a lot of damage. AI camera systems are able to identify tiny fires and trigger sprinkler systems before a fire spreads, in contrast to ceiling-mounted smoke detectors that are only able to detect significant levels of smoke.

Core Technologies at EyeQ

1. Action recognition: The ability to precisely detect and recognize activities in real-time, regardless of their speed, location, or combination of numerous actions, is known as augmented reality (AR) technology. AR technology is very applicable in various real-world fields, such as content-based videos, video surveillance, and classification. AR-enabled cameras aid in the detection and notification of suspicious activity, disorders, and potentially harmful security-related activities. The good news is that augmented reality (AR) can also provide insights into customer behavior for in-store analytics.
2. Emotion recognition: The idea of screen advertising is not new in today's commercial world. Nobody could, however, precisely gauge how the audiences viewing those advertisements responded. By measuring six fundamental emotions and identifying genders and ages, ER technology enhances the effectiveness of advertisement targeting. Businesses can now maximize their approach to potential clients while saving a significant amount of money.
3. Face recognition: It is easy to eliminate phone passwords with Apple's iPhone X's Face Recognition feature. However, FR technology is far more advanced than that. In order to verify or authenticate, FR technology compares and measures the distinctive features. Applications for this technology include CRM (replace membership cards), HR (check attendance), headcounts and heat maps (for retail stores), replacement event tickets, security (black list detection), and paving the way for banking authentication (EKYC).
