Skype makes planning group travel easier with TripAdvisor and StubHub add-ins

There is nothing more appalling and exciting than traveling to a new place with a group. With the latest Skype add-ins TripAdvisor and StubHub, making travel plans or getting a ticket to an event, with friends and family is just a click away.

Sending travel plans and tips or sharing concert events and tickets are now possible with the Skype app after it teamed up with TripAdvisor and StubHub.

It’s good news for long distance couples or friends planning a get-together since there is no requirement for an extra app to do the job.

To activate the add-ins, one has to press the plus sign button and select them from a list of options.

Once using the TripAdvisor add-in, one can pick out hotels, restaurants, and other destinations to share in a chat.

The StubHub add-in, allows one to search for sports and music events, dates, or locations from within Skype, and share all of that information. The information shared will automatically populate with photos and prices.

As for someone who has used Skype to maintain long distance relationships, these features look more than relevant.

After Microsoft acquired Skype 6 years ago, it has been a bumpy ride, with many radical redesign changes.

Skype is also introducing a new highlight feature that’s a lot like Snapchat stories. Highlights let one post a stream of photos and videos that friends can view and react with emoticons.

Skype add-ins are available on the latest version of Skype for Mac and Skype for mobile as well as for Windows 10.
