Here is the new Ford Freestyle
The Silicon Review
27 April, 2018

The American multinational automaker, Ford, has launched a new compact utility vehicle called Ford freestyle in India earlier this week. And this new car will compete in the hatchback crossover segment. The combing appeal from both Figo hatchback and Ecosports is making the new vehicle even more furnished by giving the car rugged elements like roof rails and scuff plates.

Priced between Rs 5.09 lakhs and Rs 6.94 lakhs for the petrol version and Rs 6.09 lakhs to Rs 7.89 lakhs for the diesel version, the vehicle comes with four variants, namely Ambiente, Trend, Titanium and Titanium+. Furthermore, the engine for the petrol version is designed with a three-cylinder 1.2-litre Ti-VCT motor from the Dragon family that can churn out 96hp of power and 120Nm of torque. The engine for the diesel version has the same four-cylinder 1.5-litre Dragon engine that does duty on the new Ford EcoSport. Both the versions have been coupled with a 5-speed manual gearbox.

All versions of Ford freestyle is featured with a keyless entry and variable speed wipers. The Titanium and Titanium+ versions also have a push-button start, automatic climate control and driver seat height adjustment. While the top-end Titanium+ exclusively is powered with automatic headlamps that light up when the sun sets, Ford MyKey technology allows drivers to set speed warnings, set seatbelt reminders and limit car's top speed, and rain sensing wipers.

The new car by Ford will be available in six colour options - Canyon Ridge, Smoke Grey, Moondust Silver, White Gold, Oxford White, and Absolute black.
