Sabre Corporation has announced that the company will extend its existing strategic relationship with Red Hat. Sabre plans on creating a foundation for its Next Generation Platform initiative through Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform. The purpose of OpenShift is to accelerate architecture that also includes its micro-services, DevOps operations, and multi-faceted cloud strategies. Sabre has major plans for the transition in the retail, distribution, and fulfillment through this innovative technology.
"The Next Generation Platform is the cornerstone of Sabre's long-term technology strategy. Red Hat has delivered the enterprise-hardened software environment we need to help drive our technology transformation, and this collaboration allows us to build upon that architecture and execute our plan," says Vish Saoji, the CTO of Sabre.
The customers of Sabre will benefit from this new tech transformation through enhanced world-class security, stability and acceleration. The development of these new capabilities like NDC-enabled solutions will benefit the customers on a large scale. Working parallel in operations the two company plans on improving product roadmap needs and Red Hat is certainly tuning its approach to match Sabre’s development standards.
