Xiaomi’sMi CC Wing to Manufacture ‘Trendy’ Smartphones for Global Youth

Mi CC, a new subsidiary of Xiaomi, aims to launch new smartphones for young people. Xiaomi announced the new brand on Friday.

According to Xiaomi, CC is known as camera+camera in reference to its dual camera feature. The company’s marketing strategy will involve targeting the “global young generation”. The company will manufacture phones for those who buy a gadget based on looks. Xiaomi’s primary weapon on building its brand has been manufacturing smartphones, which are considered as good as like other top smartphone rivals, but the smartphones are budget friendly.

The company’s new subsidiary is the result of the acquisition of Meitu’s  Smartphone  business. There is no information about the looks of Mi CC smartphones or when it will be launched, but the company is already getting ready to make the devices. Xiaomi stated that the brainstorm behind its new brand is one of its youngest product teams, out of which half of the members have an arts degree and are enthusiastic to create a “trendy design” for young consumers.

Xiaomi has a history of chipping in innovation into budget-friendly devices; consumers must have a look at the new phone when it’s launched. The company has been successful in selling its popular budget phone- Redmi, performance focused phone- Poco, and gaming phone- Shark, similar to Razer’s phones.
