Two VMware Services to Use Druva as the First SaaS-based Management Solution

Druva, a SaaS-based data protection, and management tool is the first to be used by two VMware services. The joint announcement, which came on Tuesday, proclaimed that VMware Cloud Marketplace and VMware Cloud on AWS would secure the services of Druva Cloud Platform for reliable data management.

“If you are deploying a lot of new edge locations in the data centers or new cloud services, Druva is a perfect partner to bring data management along with it. Now it’s all about infrastructure and infrastructure management, which is getting to be a cloud-native, public cloud-oriented SaaS world. This is where Druva comes in.” stated Jaspreet Singh, founder, and chief executive officer of Druva Inc., in a recent interview.

Druva Inc. is a software-as-a-service platform that develops software for the efficient protection and management of enterprise data on cloud platforms. Trusted worldwide by over 4000 companies, Druva is headquartered in Sunnyvale, California.  The patented cloud technology helps in transforming backup data and making it more accessible to customers.They had received a massive investment of $130 million in June from Viking Global Investors.

Druva claims that their software can streamline governance, improve cyber resiliency, and gain critical insights to uncover opportunities and expedite decision making.
