Microsoft rolls out new features for Teams in both iOS and android devices
The Silicon Review
24 August, 2020

Microsoft recently launched a ton of new features for its video calling app teams. The new features are expected to help people working from home, and it is also one of the most significant updates launched this week. The improvements come for both android phones and iPhones. Now you can directly upload images to your gallery, and there is a new search feature inside the channel and chats. Links for meetings can be generated through the android app, and it can be sent to others who don’t have a Teams account. Microsoft has updated the app to Version 2.0.19 for those who use Teams on iPhones.

Significant upgrades can be seen in the new teams for iPhones with features like the ability to see up to eight users at the same time. In the latest update for iOS, users can see an agenda for upcoming meetings, and this can be shared with the contacts. Cortana VA is available for US users, and this feature is expected to roll out eventually for other regions too. Microsoft has confirmed that many users have requested it to add the feature to customize the left sidebar so that they can rearrange and unpin and pin apps.
