In the last few years, Samsung has featured a few futuristic home robots as a part of its upcoming plans. The robots look very impressive, smart, and dexterous. But it must be noted that home robots are hard. Even after two decades since its launch Roomba has continued to be the most viable home robot. This is also one of the main reasons why JetBot 90 AI + Vacuum are expected to be one of the most viable parts of the recent events. Samsung also unveiled Bot Handy at last year’s event. That previous product and the new Bot Care together will be one of a kind design, and we will soon be living the dream.
The term science fiction seems more like an operative descriptor here because last year, we witnessed a demo in which robots were made to perform tasks on stage will minimal human interaction. It must be understood that a lot of work goes into the concept and building stage. As of now, every development that we see is merely proof of concept. In its presentation, Samsung had mentioned “not too distant future,” which means that the robot is still in the developmental stage and is undergoing research.
