Ondas Holdings, a Wireless broadband company, in a recent announcement, has stated that it has successfully acquired drone company American Robotics in a $70.6 million deal. With this acquisition, American Robotics will bring its most renowned Scout drone system to Ondas' portfolio, the first-ever FAA regulatory approvals for autonomous flight.

This will give Ondas a boost as it is looking to unlock the commercial drone market by reducing the need for costly visual observers to be on the ground during every drone flight. For Ondas, this acquisition will integrate its modern technology platforms and increase automation, data collection, and AI-powered analytics in industrial markets that improve monitoring and operational costs of critical infrastructure.

American Robotics' Scout System will be implemented into Ondas FullMAX platform, a complete networking solution specially designed for field area operations. Both the companies ain to improve experience and relationships with their target customer markets in addition to their next-generation industrial networking capabilities. This innovative concept will be beneficial as the robotics sector is penetrating larger markets. Both the companies will try to address the pain points of their customers in this sector.
