This can be seen as IBM’s answer to mainframe modernization services offered by the likes of Google Cloud and AWS that promise users that it will replace corporate mainframe

Tech giant IBM has recently made an announcement that it has started a new hub for customers who want to increase the capabilities of their Z Series mainframes. The IBM Z and Cloud Modernization Center are well known for their resources, tools, ecosystem, and training partners as the tech giant is looking forward to becoming an integral part of a hybrid cloud strategy. This can be seen as IBM’s answer to mainframe modernization services offered by the likes of Google Cloud and AWS that promise users that it will replace corporate mainframe. As of now, global enterprises that work in IBM Z have very few options as a one-stop destination for information and steps that can progress modernization.

Mainframes are generally found in insurance, retail, and banking die their ability to process huge amounts of transactions and solid security functions swiftly. In 2021, BMC had conducted a survey with more than 1200 mainframe execs and technicians, out of which close to 92 percent had stated that they see the mainframe as a platform for new workloads and long-term growth.
