Popular tech company Microsoft has recently made an announcement that it will soon be launching Cloud for Sustainability at scale. The service will be made available in general from June 1and it is expected to offer new features to enable broader and faster transformation for enterprises at different stages. Back in 2021, Microsoft had revealed that it would be launching Cloud for Sustainability to help global consumers meet their sustainability goals and reduce carbon emissions.

In its latest statement, the tech giant has revealed that the ever-growing set of ESG capabilities from the company will support its global partners’ ecosystem and it will give all the organizations an opportunity to accelerate their business growth and progress. As a part of Cloud for Sustainability, the companies will be offered an empowering solution to easily report, reduce, and record their environmental impact through real-time data connection. These will deliver insights that can be used by the enterprise to improve their effort. Corporate VP Alysa Taylor has stated that the new sustainability manager will be available for a free test drive or purchase from the 1st of June. By 2030, Microsoft has decided to be matched by zero-carbon energy purchases.
