The solutions base goes back to the offering available in the US, which Amazon had launched almost two years ago. This app in the US has been immensely helpful for people looking to serve their walk-in customers, and it also allows stores to sell commodities directly on Amazon. In recent reports, Amazon had mentioned that shops of any size could sign up for this program, and the company would provide the necessary support with digital payments and logistics. SVP Amit Agarwal has stated that they are very humbled by how local shops are responding to their program. So far, Amazon has invested more than $6.5 billion in the Indian market for operations.
