Acquisition of Agyla SAS has furthered IBM’s Hybrid Cloud Consulting Capability in France

Acquisition Agyla SAS
The Silicon Review
15 June, 2023

The announcement from today will be IBM's sixth acquisition of 2023.

In order to increase its specialized cloud knowledge for French clients, IBM Consulting recently signed a contract to purchase Agyla SAS, a top provider of professional cloud services in France. With this deal, IBM will be able to offer more hybrid multicloud services and enhance its hybrid cloud and AI strategy in the area. The announcement from today will be IBM's sixth acquisition of 2023. In order to strengthen its hybrid cloud and artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities, IBM has taken over more than 30 firms since Arvind Krishna was made CEO in April 2020. Agyla SAS would be added to IBM Consulting's portfolio of hybrid cloud companies, which already includes Nordcloud, SXiQ, Neudesic, BoxBoat, and Taos.

Companies are searching for a dependable partner to assist them on their road to a hybrid cloud model as they upgrade their IT environments, and IBM Consulting has the expertise to do so. HFS, an analysis firm, named IBM a market leader in cloud native transformations. IBM's abilities to deliver cloud-native transformational results tailored to specific industries, its open platform philosophy, and the IBM Garage way to collaborate with clients were highlighted as positives. With the purchase of Agyla SAS, IBM Consulting is better prepared to offer French clients the comprehensive services they require to develop, implement, and manage sizable digital transformations on hybrid clouds.
