Globex Mining Enterprises Inc. has announced its recent acquisition of eight unpatented lode claims covering 66.88 hectares (165.28 acres) in Clark County, southern Nevada, USA. Referred to as the Red Star Project, the property encompasses two epithermal quartz vein systems: the Red Star vein system, extending over 2 km, and the western segment of the Double Standard vein system, spanning 470m. While various metals, including gold, silver, copper, lead, and turquoise, were mined in the region, comprehensive production data for the Crescent Mining District is unavailable. The Red Star vein system has been subject to historical mining and exploration activities since 1907–1914, initially staked by the Red Star Mines Company.

Furthermore, the company owned the high-grade Ag-Au vein system at the Double Standard mine, located 2.5 km south of the Red Star Group. Pulse A1, observed solely in the Double Standard Vein system and the Peak vein, demonstrates intermediate sulfidation epithermal style mineralization. Pulse A2, the most prominent phase within the Red Star vein system, showcases low sulfidation, epithermal-style mineralization, and significant gold values. Pulse B, likely the latest multi-generation epithermal stage, is primarily present in the Red Star vein, particularly in its hanging wall portion, exhibiting characteristics indicative of low sulfidation epithermal type mineralization. The presence of ginguro quartz, a significant indicator of mineralization, has been noted along the entire hanging wall portion of the main pocket and in numerous isolated outcrops in the eastern vein segment.
