Area 99 is set to blend nostalgia with adrenaline-fueled action, bringing Nuke town back to life in an epic, tight-knit battleground

Hype is igniting among Call of Duty fans. Data miners uncover captivating intricacies hinting at a new Warzone map, Area 99, gearing up to launch in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. This map, loaded with ten distinct Points of Interest (POIs), blends nostalgic throwbacks from the iconic Nuke town with brand new strategic environments for an electrifying revival experience. Area 99 features battlegrounds like the Reactor — a maze of tight corridors — and Nuke town Shipping, filled with treasures of past Nuke town settings. It also has unique locations such as the Bunker and Cooling Towers, offering long-range engagement opportunities that cater to diverse play styles.

The thrilling inclusiveness of the Mannequin Assembly and Loading Bay zones, both of which are full of close-quarters warfare with a Nuke town atmosphere and unique sniper positions, are two of Warzone's major features. The debut of this map, along with Black Ops 6, has also reinvigorated interest in the 2025 return of the beloved Verdansk map, which assures veterans classic battle experiences on bigger battle royale maps. There is a thrilling sensation as the release date draws near because community debates are getting tense and there is a lot of speculation regarding possible new features and game modes.
