Chanel Unveils Margot Robbie&r...The movie, according to Chanel, is "an epic tale" that conveys the class, sophistication, and feminine power found in N°5
Chanel has officially unveiled its highly anticipated debut campaign for the iconic N°5 fragrance, featuring Margot Robbie in her first appearance as the face of the brand. Titled See You at 5, the cinematic film marks the fragrance’s first campaign in four years and is directed by Luca Guadagnino, known for his sensually charged style.
Shot in 35mm, the film captures the subtle, intimate emotions of Robbie's character's first meeting with her love interest, portrayed by Jacob Elordi, who is best known for his roles in Saltburn and Euphoria. The way he portrays "anxious virility and vibrant sensitivity" adds depth to Robbie's fascinating and liberated character. The two-minute and 20-second film is one of Chanel’s longest-ever campaigns for N°5, reflecting the brand’s desire to blend modern storytelling with the timeless essence of its iconic fragrance. Robbie’s appearance in a red skirt suit is a nod to Carole Bouquet’s look from Chanel’s 1986 Monuments ad, paying homage to the fragrance’s rich history.
The movie, according to Chanel, is "an epic tale" that conveys the class, sophistication, and feminine power found in N°5. The narrative highlights the fragrance's everlasting essence by turning a romantic encounter into a fascinating tale. Chanel is reimagining its legacy with this new campaign, which features Robbie's dynamic presence to celebrate modern femininity.
