Revyze Secures $6M Seed Fundin...Revyze has created a unique identity in the education sector, especially in light of the pandemic and the way that students are choosing to learn
The innovative mobile app Revyze, created for GenZ and GenAlpha learners, has raised $6 million in a seed fundraising round led by Speedinvest and Moonfire. The money will be put to the app's goal of using social learning to transform education. With over one million users since its August 2022 launch, Revyze allows middle and high school students to interact with educational content through short, peer-created videos and quizzes.
The most recent investment comes after a $2.2 million pre-seed round in 2022, which attracted well-known investors like co-founders from Airbnb and gaming industries. Revyze has created a unique identity in the education sector, especially in light of the pandemic and the way that students are choosing to learn through social media sites like TikTok. Revyze, according to co-founder Guillaume Perrot, is "Duolingo meets TikTok," fusing social video format and gamified learning frameworks. Almost 20,000 films made by 2,000 creators on the app have received over 150 million views, showcasing its success.
With features like daily quests and student social connections, Revyze hopes to increase user engagement and eventually create a personalized and dynamic learning environment. In order to further its goals, the company intends to grow into the United States in 2025 and hopes to build a diverse workforce in Paris.
