Telenor Velocity's Innovation Challenge 2025 wrapped up with a firm emphasis on agritech solutions with the aim to revolutionize Pakistan's agriculture sector. The challenge brought together innovative startups making use of digital innovation to solve key challenges faced by farmers, such as efficiency, sustainability, and climate resilience.

A renowned panel of judges comprising Fasieh Mehta, Sumera Abbasi, Bilal Abbasi, and Ahsan Maykan judged the startups on their scalability, innovation, and impact on Pakistan's agricultural sector.

GrowthTech Services won the competition with a PKR 1 million grand prize for its innovative solution focused on maximizing agricultural efficiency. Other prominent finalists, such as AI Smart Farming, Agrivoice Buddy, and Agro AI, pitched cutting-edge innovations that combine AI, machine learning, and precision farming methods to enhance productivity and sustainability.

Telenor Pakistan CEO Khurrum Ashfaque commended GrowthTech Services and all the other finalists, reaffirming Telenor Velocity's digital innovation commitment. He mentioned the achievements of such initiatives as the Khushaal Watan App, which offers localized agronomic insights, real-time weather, and advisory from experts to farmers, promoting resilience and decision-making in agriculture.
