Product Offerings

OTA Software and Data Management

Leveraging vehicle connectivity: Connected vehicles are increasingly enabled to receive remote over-the-air (OTA) software updates and transmit diagnostic and operational data from onboard systems and components. By leveraging vehicle connectivity in this way automakers can significantly reduce recall expense, improve cybersecurity response time, increase product quality and operational efficiency, and deliver post-sale vehicle performance and feature enhancements.

Managing increasing complexity: The benefits of automotive OTA are clear. What’s not so clear is how to manage the increasing complexity of executing OTA software updates and data management for millions of vehicles around the world—efficiently, reliably, and securely—as requirements transition from single ECUs like head units to multiple ECUs like gateways, sensors, and processors powering safety and highly critical systems and components throughout the vehicle.

Service Management

Differentiation requires control: Connected car programs are increasingly important for leading automakers to differentiate vehicle brands and models from the competition and enhancing consumer satisfaction and loyalty. However, achieving program differentiation mandates a high degree of control.

Strategic and operational imperatives: Controlling connected car programs at scale—for millions of vehicles and subscribers around the world—is a strategic and operational imperative. The goal is clear: efficiently configure, launch, and continually manage service delivery, including over-the-air (OTA) software updates and 24/7 data collection and management to keep programs on the cutting-edge.

Intelligent Vehicle

Moving beyond infotainment: With increasing access to vehicle diagnostic and driving behavior data automakers can begin expanding their connected car programs beyond infotainment into driving centric services that are personalized, contextual, and fully focused on the vehicle ownership and driving experience. This new wave of real-time service delivery will enable vehicles to proactively present highly relevant information and recommendations leading to increased consumer engagement, satisfaction, and brand loyalty.

Differentiated consumer experiences: Airbiquity’s Intelligent Vehicle offering enables driving centric services with the continual collection and analysis of vehicle diagnostic and driving behavior data, embedded TCU and smartphone connectivity options, customized HMI and app development, 3rd party data and back office IT system integration, and over-the-air (OTA) software updates. It all adds up to a powerful post-purchase consumer experience that’s branded and well differentiated from competitors.

Infotainment Delivery

Satisfy tech-savvy drivers: With the rise of smartphones and other mobile devices, tech-savvy drivers increasingly expect access to in-vehicle infotainment, including their personal universe of apps and content, familiar user interfaces, and favorite features.

Safety & Security

Be there when drivers need you most: The foremost priority of every automaker is ensuring the safety and security of people using their vehicles. Services featuring automatic crash notification, customized apps for remote management, and call center access empower drivers whether behind the wheel or miles away on a smartphone.

Deployment proven integration: Given the high stakes and consumer expectations, Airbiquity ensures a stringent combination of deployment proved telematics technology, IT system and third-party ecosystem integration, and 99.9% service delivery uptime.

Robust service delivery management: Airbiquity provides a full range of safety and security features with comprehensive service delivery controls including app and subscription management, policy settings, billing and payments, and over-the-air (OTA) software updates.

Electric Vehicle

Highly specialized services: Electric, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid drivers expect instant access to detailed information about their vehicles to maximize driving efficiency and minimize environmental impact. Electric vehicle services must provide highly specialized vehicle management features, sophisticated Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI), and real-time collection and analysis of vehicle diagnostic data, driving behavior data, and off-board third party service data.

Seamless user experiences: Airbiquity integrates all of the necessary vehicle system hardware, connectivity devices, mobile networks, smartphone apps, content providers, and back office IT systems into a seamless EV user experience. Program service delivery is easily configured and dynamically managed using a robust back-end web portal and over-the-air (OTA) software updates.
