Q. Can you provide us with one or two success stories describing the challenges your clients faced and how ACI helped them overcome those challenges?
A Global FMCG Major Core Achievements: Data and Analytics Transformation - Data and Platform modernization program
Client the world’s largest food and beverage company had multiple on-premises and siloed systems to store and manage its data. These unintegrated systems and all business functions operated in siloes, which led to multiple versions of duplicate data and non-standard KPIs and measures for reporting. The arrangement hampered collaboration between business functions and created an environment for multiple “versions of the truth.” The client found it difficult to build an advanced analytical engine or unified reporting because of the additional effort needed to constantly aggregate data from the siloed systems. ACI and the client collaborated on the Client modernization program to develop and maintain a Microsoft Azure Data Lake in the cloud, tearing down siloes and providing reusable data assets that can be used by all business functions
Client had its overarching establishing a powerful enterprise data and business analytics strategy in place, they needed to operationalize it. In partnership with ACI, client developed a centralized BI system that provided users of all kinds from IT analysts to Senior Executives - self-services analytics leveraging Microsoft Power BI.
Sitting atop their existing SAP data warehousing system, this tool empowers users to create action and share their own bespoke data-driven insights. To maximize agility, data quality and usability, they built this new BI capability around 4 key components:
