John Ricco is a Co-Founder of Atlantic Group. He started the firm in 2006 with a focus on serving the Accounting/Finance needs of companies over a broad range of industries, specifically asset management. Since inception the firm has grown to an industry leading recruitment and temporary staffing firm serving multiple locations, industries and lines of business.

John has a passion for the recruitment industry and believes that strong relationships are what drives success in both business and in life.  He is a CPA and a graduate from the State University at Albany with a BS in Accounting. John resides on Long Island, is an accomplished musician, and enjoys traveling, spending time with his wife and coaching his sons various sports teams.

Rich Scardina is a Co-Founder of Atlantic Group. He is actively involved with the strategic vision of the firm as well as continuing to manage a full cycle recruitment desk focusing specifically on Private Equity and Hedge Fund back and middle office roles within the CFO & COO verticals. From the beginning, Rich had a vision of a recruiting firm that was focused operationally on honesty and integrity, complete transparency, with a process that was cleaner than the industry was, and still is, accustomed to.

Prior to founding Atlantic, Rich spent a few years as an auditor in public accounting and then joined Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette where he helped oversee their Private Equity accounting & finance operations for eight years as a Vice President. He graduated with honors from SUNY Oneonta with a double major in Economics & Accounting and was a member of the varsity basketball team.
