Bastille – Empowering enterprises and safeguarding critical assets in interconnected landscape through robust wireless threats intelligence platform
The Silicon Review
Bastille, a pioneering leader in wireless threat intelligence through software-defined radio, empowers enterprise security teams to assess and manage the risks associated with the increasing number of Cellular, RF, and Wireless threats. Leveraging their patented software and security sensors, Bastille provides visibility into devices emitting radio signals such as Wi-Fi, Cellular, Bluetooth, BLE, Wireless dongles, and other IoT communications within an organization's airspace.
Utilizing their patented software-defined radio and machine learning technology, Bastille detects, identifies, and pinpoints threats, granting security teams the capability to precisely evaluate risks and address airborne threats that may jeopardize sensitive information and network infrastructure.
Bastille's wireless threat intelligence solutions are highly sought after by organizations aiming to safeguard their most critical assets. Offering robust detection and response capabilities against wireless threats, Bastille's technology finds applications in various enterprise scenarios.
Cloud Infrastructure Wireless Security: Cloud Infrastructure, housing invaluable organizational assets, is often equipped with intricate industrial machinery and frequented by contractors, making it susceptible to various risks. While these facilities employ stringent physical and cyber security measures, radio frequency (RF) based attacks pose a unique challenge by bypassing firewalls. Bastille's solution addresses this vulnerability, ensuring comprehensive protection.
Bastille provides intelligent and comprehensive, continuous monitoring for wireless threats within cloud infrastructure locations. The Bastille solution is a combination of Sensor Arrays deployed throughout your facility, Concentrators to aggregate and process sensor data, and the Fusion Center platform which collects and analyzes wireless data and is the central integration point which can be connected to, and augment, your security monitoring system with Bastille’s wireless threat data. This tiered architecture allows the Bastille solution to scale from monitoring a single room to many campuses across the world with a single management interface.
C-Suite Offices and Meeting Rooms: The C-Suite, where strategic, financial, and sensitive information is discussed, demands exceptional security. Executive boardrooms and meeting areas are particularly vulnerable as they handle confidential data in both spoken and written forms. Bastille's technology provides a shield, safeguarding this critical space and its invaluable information from potential threats.
Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM): Traditional TSCM methods are point-in-time and quickly become outdated. Bastille offers continuous TSCM services, integrating seamlessly into existing security infrastructures. This continuous approach ensures real-time threat detection, eliminating the gaps that exist in periodic sweeps and significantly enhancing security protocols.
Facility/Campus Headquarters: Organizations keen on monitoring employee behavior and device movements within their premises benefit from Bastille's solutions. Large organizations, especially those dealing with sensitive data, seek comprehensive insights into the radio frequency spectrum within their offices and campuses. Bastille's technology provides a holistic view, enabling organizations to understand and mitigate potential risks effectively.
Call Centers: Call Centers handle highly sensitive customer data, making them prime targets for malicious activities. One of the significant vulnerabilities arises from employees and the devices they bring into the workspace. Bastille's solutions assist Call Centers in safeguarding customer information by identifying and addressing potential threats posed by employee devices, ensuring the security of customer data at all times.
Fusion Center: Bastille’s Fusion Center platform receives wireless data from the sensor arrays, compiles and analyzes the data, and displays all data on current and historical wireless device activity. Bastille’s Fusion Center is the only Common Criteria / NIAP certified product in this industry and provides you additional assurance on the quality and security of the Bastille solution. Any detected wireless device is clearly overlayed on your facility floor plan, including current device location to within 3m accuracy and a playback capability to show the historical location of each wireless device as it moved through your space. This playback functionality allows correlation with other systems to determine who brought the device in, along with when and where they traveled in the facility.
Bastille’s Fusion Center automatically detects known wireless threats from its curated database of threats discovered by Bastille’s Threat Research team and industry disclosed vulnerabilities. The Fusion Center platform offers highly customizable reports, provides rich API capabilities for integration with SIEM/SOAR systems, and is fully maintained and supported by Bastille along with the sensor arrays for the life of the subscription.
Advanced Bluetooth Device Detection: Bastille’s unique approach simultaneously monitors all 79 Bluetooth channels and 40 Bluetooth Low Energy channels. This approach identifies Bluetooth paired devices, explicitly noting the paired network endpoints, attributes of both ends of the pairing, and Bluetooth devices performing inquiries or scans. Other vendors only show when Bluetooth devices are looking to pair; after they’ve paired they become invisible. After a device is paired is when it has the capability to exfiltrate data and cause disruption; you need this visibility to protect against Bluetooth surveillance threats.
Individual Cellular Device Detection: Bastille provides comprehensive data on all individual cellular devices which transmit in the monitored space. With Bastille’s technology, you can track the location, carrier, and specific attributes of each cellular device as it moves through the monitored facility, all while adhering to data privacy concerns.
