About the Logo
In describing their logo, Burnie Group reveals that it's more than just a red circle; it's a representation of a Harvey Ball, a significant ideogram used by consultants to convey qualitative communication. The Harvey Ball serves as a visual indicator of task or process completion, as well as performance evaluation. For instance, a partially filled Harvey Ball might signify that an activity in a project is halfway done or indicate a person's skill level at 50% compared to best-in-class standards. The origins of the Harvey Ball are credited to Harvey Poppel, who devised it in the 1970s while working as a consultant at Booz Allen.
