Creating a measurable social Impact through blockchain: Kindly

In our digital world, blockchain has become an important method of storing data. Blockchain is a decentralized network that works as a distributed ledger that stores and protects digital data and records. The transparency and security offered by the technology make it the obvious choice for businesses worldwide. Globally, many companies are providing excellent services utilizing blockchain technology; among them, Kindly stands out. Kindly is a humanitarian-based blockchain project building an ecosystem that brings accountability, transparency, and trust to the 420 billion dollars charitable giving market.

There is a considerable shift globally towards becoming more socially and environmentally responsible and Kindly wants to be the trusted source for any company or individual to give back. To achieve this Kindly is building an ecosystem of products and services using blockchain and Web3 technologies to generate, track, and streamline the processing of measurable social impact and become the “supply chain” of charitable giving.

Sadly, “charity-washing,” similar to the tactic known as “greenwashing,” is now all too common, where a company makes a show of social good but then diminishes its positive impact through a lack of transparency or practices that undermine the cause they promote. Philanthropy increases brand loyalty when practiced genuinely, and we’re in the middle of a do-good renaissance where innovative brands are giving back, spurred on by their Gen Z customers. This same demographic is also pushing the worldwide adoption of blockchain innovation and cryptocurrency.

As a company co-founded by one of the world’s largest food relief charities, Food For Life Global Kindly uses the non-profit’s 25+ years of charitable experience and infrastructure to bring this innovative, measurable social impact solution to the world.

A conversation with Michael Kirlew, CEO of Kindly

Q. Can you explain about your services in brief?

The primary products and services we use to achieve our goal include;

  • Kindly Coin (cryptocurrency) – is used to purchase social impact, pay transaction fees, and support charitable initiatives.
  • Kindly API – the social impact processing system that utilizes the blockchain to streamline and automate the ability to purchase, track, and verify social impact transactions. Any company, payment processor, blockchain, game, or Metaverse can easily integrate with this system to constantly generate real-time social impact.
  • Kindly Market – the social impact online store provides the primary mechanism for consumers and companies to purchase one-off social impact transactions using fiat and cryptocurrencies easily.
  • Kindly Scan – a user-friendly social impact transaction explorer that allows anyone to search quickly, track, verify and confirm the processing of social impact transactions.
  • Kindly Lab - a user-friendly platform that will enable anyone to create their own custom NFT avatar embedded with measurable social impact.

Q. Kindly Labs sounds promising. Could you take us through the methods you plan to employ to secure the NFTs?

Kindly is building a revolutionary NFT-based consumer product that we believe will enable people to take ownership of their digital self and bring innovative utility and social impact to social media platforms, gaming, and the Metaverse. By utilizing Kindly’s network of executives from Walt Disney’s CalArts, Sony Playstation, and several others, we believe that we have the team in place to create something extraordinary. We highly recommend people follow us on Telegram and Twitter for more information as we announce further details on the upcoming consumer product.

Q. I see that Kindly takes CSR very seriously. Could you elaborate on the CSR projects Kindly is a part of?

Most consumers today demand that companies be socially responsible and give back meaningfully. 71% of young consumers will even change brands if one is more charitable than the other. Therefore, combining corporate social responsibility with a measurable cause marketing strategy delivers a clear message of integrity to customers and builds brand loyalty. At Kindly, we have partnered with three leading charities that provide measurable social impact to feed children, plant trees, and feed rescued animals.

Q. Do you have any new services ready to be launched?

The Kindly Coin was recently launched on the Bitmart cryptocurrency exchange. In the immediate future, we will launch our charitable staking platform and a social impact marketplace to enable anyone to purchase measurable social impact online using fiat and cryptocurrencies easily.

Q. What does the future hold for your company and its customers? Are exciting things on the way?

The heart of the kindly ecosystem will be our social impact platform, geared towards enabling socially-responsible companies to give back measurably. This B2B solution will be accompanied by custom APIs to make it easy for traditional systems, including payment processors, gaming, blockchains, and Metaverse, to integrate with us. The exciting part of this solution is that it will enable customers to track their impact in real time.
