Simplifying the data crossroad: The brands story

One of the great pioneers in the industry, Crosser’s co-founder, Uffe Bjorklund, began developing real-time data communications systems as a hobby back in 2009. His hobby became a side project when he made his real-time communication engine available to developers for free under the moniker XSockets. After receiving requests for a commercially sponsored version, Uffe quickly saw over 60,000 downloads. This led to the next phase, where users from all over the world were using the real-time engine for various development projects.

Uffe met with seasoned tech entrepreneur Martin Thunman and marketing strategist Johan Jonzon at the beginning of 2016. They came to the conclusion that a high-performing, modular, and intelligent stream analytics engine would be necessary to meet the problems posed by the impending explosion of linked systems and assets.

When Crosser was founded, the team's goal was to create the most clever and user-friendly stream analytics and integration solution possible.
