The Silicon Review reached out to Mr. Vorbach for an interview.

Please tell us about the circumstances or events that led to the founding of Emapta.     

Emapta’s journey began in pursuit of a solution. In the early 2000’s, I had just opened a new business in Australia and was looking to generate fresh, high-quality leads. My core team needed some help in searching for good leads, which they found in several third-party service providers in the Philippines, a top network outsourcing destination. While the leads proved to be a success, I felt constrained by the lack of control over the entire outsourcing process. Eventually, I would adopt a hybrid working model with my local team that would later form the basis of Emapta’s dedicated staffing system. Based on my outsourcing experience, I went back to the Philippines to find a better solution. Impressed by the work ethic of Filipinos, I realized that I could work directly with them to achieve my vision without relying on third-party providers. Taking a big leap of faith, I moved my family to Manila and built my own outsourcing company in the country: Emapta. 

Emapta is an acronym derived from the first names of my family members, symbolizing the company’s commitment to the values and essence of family.

Emapta emerged as the result of my quest for an improved solution to address my outsourcing challenges and to provide support for my international ventures. The specialized offshore staffing approach of Emapta, enabling the customization of teams according to individual preferences, proved highly successful. This success led me to recognize that this solution could be applied effectively to diverse businesses. Although Emapta initially operated from a modest office with approximately 50 employees, my strong commitment and determination to revolutionize the outsourcing landscape were evident. In contrast to other outsourcing providers, Emapta’s dedicated offshore staffing strategy empowers business leaders to oversee and customize their offshore teams with the same level of detail and control that I exercised.

This strategy demonstrated remarkable success: more than 13 years later, Emapta has evolved into a total workforce of over 7,200 individuals, operating across 18 offices in six countries. Transitioning from a few initial clients, the company now caters to over 700 clients, providing them with the tools to manage their businesses autonomously and achieve their maximum potential.

We offer complete support, starting with the identification of suitable candidates using dedicated subject matter expert recruiters, conducting skills assessment tests, and more. Once a client onboards, they are assigned a dedicated client experience manager who collaborates with an HR business partner to manage their account efficiently.

We manage all client requirements and tailor the solution to their specific needs. This includes customizing everything from workstations, machines, and IT configurations to work shifts and schedules, as well as branding their offices and more.

Following the onboarding phase, we implement retention and development programs for our clients’ staff and maintain regular check-ins with our clients. Our approach involves crafting personalized solutions that align with the unique needs of each client, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and success.
