Zaid AlChalabi isn’t your typical tech executive. His path to becoming the Chief Operating Officer of a $10M+ tech group was anything but linear.

Born in London and raised in Iraq, Zaid grew up surrounded by political instability and economic uncertainty. But what set him apart was his unshakable belief that technology could change lives. At just 16 years old, he opened a small computer repair shop — built under a staircase — driven by pure passion and curiosity.

That business was later destroyed in the midst of war, forcing Zaid to pivot. He took a job as a Computer technician for a major telecom company and worked his way up — mastering operations, leadership, and large-scale technology deployments.

Eventually, Zaid made the bold decision to leave it all behind and start over in the United States. With no shortcuts or handouts, he built his reputation from the ground up — learning the American business landscape, immersing himself in compliance and automation, and embracing entrepreneurship with clarity and courage.

Today, he leads multiple technology companies and oversees more than 250 employees across the globe. But ask him what he’s most proud of, and he won’t talk about the numbers.
