Q. What was the motivation behind establishing Jive?
Jive began with the idea of using the power of storytelling to amplify the mission of entrepreneurs, driven by measurable results.
Do you think it is mandatory for organizations to partner with an external efficient PR/Communications/Media agency to improve brand image?
Nothing is mandatory, but it’s definitely our recommendation. While partnering with an agency isn’t the only way to improve brand image, we understand that it’s not always possible for business owners to tackle every area. That’s where we come in – to elevate a brand’s communication footprint with offerings tailored to each client’s objectives. We act as an extension of our client’s teams to ensure their goals are met.
Q. Tell us about your full range of services.
Our full range of services includes:
Q. What makes Jive unique in the PR and Digital space?
Jive PR + Digital is a one-stop communications shop! We have all the resources you need to develop and execute your communications strategy under one roof. Jive’s collective traditional, social, and digital expertise is a resource for all of your integrated marketing needs. Our team is positioned across North America with expertise spanning various industries, including Film, Music, Consumer Brands, Health + Wellness, and Technology.
Q. What are the challenges of being in PR and digital marketing today? How are you tackling them?
Q. Considering the quality of today’s PR and Media services, they come with an expensive price tag. How can SMEs benefit from your services?
Our team at Jive develops multitiered, dynamic strategies that are customized to meet the needs of each brand (and budget) we work with. We are able to provide strategic guidance for a wide variety of clients in whatever area is most important for growth – whether that’s influencer marketing, social media, public relations, brand positioning, media training, crisis communication, or digital campaigns. If you’re a large brand or a small business, we’ll help you target the right consumers to increase your brand’s visibility and enhance your reputation.
Q. Providing flawless PR and Media services needs experts in the house. How did you manage to form your dream team?
At Jive PR + Digital, we are firm believers that those in your network have similar backgrounds and interests and are therefore likely to make great referrals – we often recruit within the networks of our existing employees because no one knows our culture better than those who help create and sustain it. When our employees embody our culture, we know their recommendations likely will, too. Since our employees participate in the recruitment process, they only recommend people they would want to work with themselves. This creates a knock-on effect to hiring that consistently recruits better candidates than we could find on our own or with a headhunter – and we all know the importance of working with good humans.
Q. It was tough, and it is still, for brands to manage customer expectations to protect their reputation during the pandemic. As an experienced PR/Communications and Media agency, what is your ‘friend in need’ approach for businesses to make it through the crisis?
Consumer behavior and business strategies are making a tremendous shift as the pandemic influenced, created, and accelerated the market trends. This year will serve as a pivotal time in every industry, and tailoring strategies to these new and rapidly changing trends will empower businesses to not only overcome adversities but also be prepared for the unexpected. Three major trends consumers are gravitating towards include (or are related to) corporate social responsibility, purpose-driven support, and empathy-based marketing. Ultimately, your brand needs to be tailoring every PR and social strategy around these trends to effectively reach consumers and deliver results this year.
Q. What is the next step for the company as it continues to grow?
Since 2009, Jive has been dedicated to evolving with the speed of culture. As we continue to grow across North America, the focus is on maintaining our solid relationships with our existing clients, connecting with new companies and brands while expanding our cross-border reach.
