The Silicon Review
A business can only continue to travel on the path to success when its people are growing, operational processes encourage direct dialogue, and leadership forges competitive strategies. Leaders worldwide concur that developing the next generation of leaders is a pressing challenge. Product innovation and competitive positioning further round out three of the top ten challenges reported by chief executive officers. The crucial issues facing companies worldwide include people (talent acquisition, development, retention, coaching, and skill gap closure), strategy (product innovation, outperforming the competition, and economic security post-pandemic), and effective digital transformation, merger, and acquisition due diligence. Does your organization have all the talent available to address these challenges? Do you need interim support? Parrish Partners exists to enable, support, and drive accountability.

In conversation with Dr. Jeanette Winters, Partner at Parrish Partners LLC
Q. Is it essential to break the myopic view to remain unbiased and stay focused on devising an effective strategic plan?
Strategic thinking, and subsequently strategic planning, is all about looking ahead and envisioning what is possible. Strategic thinking is more right brain work, requiring a more holistic thinking process. An excellent approach to strategic planning is to start with an environmental scan. How is your environment changing? How must you/your business change to compete and lead in the changing competitive environment? Strategy, in its essence, is how you will compete with available resources. Therefore, strategic planning defines what you will do to compete for the foreseeable future and what resources you will deploy to do so. Stepping out from under the business’s day-to-day tactical operations and envisioning what you wish to create down the road is essential.
Q. Consultants do not come with guarantees, so there is always a possibility that you might not achieve the results you had planned when you had hired them, irrespective of the cost. How can businesses overcome this uncertainty?
As strategy consultants and facilitators of strategic planning, we guarantee that each client will walk away with greater clarity on what they wish to create. Our process delivers clarity through questioning, discovery, conversation, debate, data collection, and dialog. While there is never a guarantee of a winning strategy, there is a guarantee that you will have a plan to execute built upon the thoughts, insights, and deliberations of a fully informed executive team well aware of the market dynamics faced.
Q. Strategic business consulting and planning is the process of creating a set of offensive and defensive business maneuvers designed to increase and keep a competitive advantage over your competition. How do you help businesses stay ahead of the curve?
Staying ahead of the curve requires anticipating that the path to success winds and turns. How sharp is the curve? Is the road up or downhill? Might it instead be long and arduous? Defining market-driven curve dynamics is part of what strategic planning involves. The executive team gets to opine on the road ahead and determine how best to navigate in a well-defined and executed planning process.
Q. Expertise is the first and most significant advantage of the right business consultant. How do you source the right talents to maintain the quality of your services?
Parrish Partners employs only seasoned consultants who demonstrate not only excellence in their field of expertise but also excellence in providing a client experience that is personalized, meaningful, and results-driven. Our values define our ethos: ICARE--integrity, commitment, acceleration, results, and excellence. We bring our values, unparalleled expertise, and experience to each engagement.
