Harbor West Commercial Lending: The future of commercial loans

Commercial loans are granted to a variety of business entities, usually to assist with short-term funding needs for operational costs or for the purchase of equipment to facilitate the operating process. In some instances, the loan may be extended to help the business meet more basic operational needs, such as funding for payroll or to purchase supplies used in the production and manufacturing process.

HarborWest Commercial Lending is a nationwide commercial mortgage brokerage and advisory firm based in Southern California. It represents commercial real estate owners, investors and business owners in the capital markets to arrange financing for their investment properties. The team maintains long-standing relationships with over 275+ commercial lending sources. The company leverages these relationships to ensure its clients are aligned with the most competitive financing available in the market for their unique needs. Clients also gain the benefit of experience and network to anticipate and solve any issues that may arise in order to secure a smooth loan process.

HarborWest Commercial was formed in 2017 by our Principal, Colin Dubel. After a successful early career at larger commercial real estate firms, Colin wanted to create a company that lived up to his standards and filled a large gap in the industry. The majority of the commercial mortgage companies in the industry with higher quality professionals and loan programs catered to larger companies and their transactions. Individual investors and family offices working on middle-market transactions were left to scattered banks with limited programs and unmotivated representatives, or a handful of commercial mortgage companies with narrow experience, reach or quality of work for these clients.

HarborWest Commercial Lending (HWCL) is a licensed real estate broker in the state of California (DRE #01907126) that offers nationwide mortgage consulting services. Client communication and recommendations are strictly consultative and based on our best efforts and experience. Any loan terms discussed by HWCL do not constitute an offer or commitment to lend – the final determination to lend and extended loan terms can only be made by third-party lenders after their full due diligence period.
