Resources Global Professional was founded in 1996 as a division of Deloitte & Touche. The firm’s leaders are proud of their Big Four heritage, but they envisioned a different kind of consulting firm. So in 1999, Executive Chairman Don Murray followed his vision and led a management buyout. RGP went public in December of 2000, and since then, it has grown into a global consulting firm providing strategy and execution for some of the world’s largest and best-known businesses.

Beginning their careers at Big Four accounting firms, the founders instilled RGP with a tradition of service and professionalism. But there are significant differences between RGP and old-model consulting firms. They did away with the conventional pyramid structure, opting instead to deliver services through accomplished professionals. RGP leaders encourage teamwork and a total commitment to their clients’ goals. The values established by the founders arefollowed even today. RGP is client-centric and problem focused. The firm approaches every task with passion and has a deep sense of value for talent, integrity, enthusiasm, and loyalty.
