Jack Sebbag, CRO: A Valiant leader driving the development and execution of Imprivita's global sales strategy
The Silicon Review
It’s no secret that digital identity has taken centre stage in the world of tech, for the consumer as well as for business. Indeed, more and more individuals now use an online identity for daily tasks, such as accessing government benefits, education, bank accounts and booking medical appointments. In some cases, it is even impossible to access services or perform tasks without it. This shift highlights the fact that activities with the greatest value are also those where users must provide their digital identity, i.e. personal information that proves they are who they say they are. As such, the potential benefits of digital ID for citizens, governments as well as businesses are not to be ignored, as they could lead to growth and a more inclusive economy. The implementation of digital identity systems to further achieve these objectives is therefore important.
Imprivata is the digital identity company for mission- and life-critical industries, redefining how organizations solve complex workflow, security, and compliance challenges with solutions that protect critical data and applications without workflow disruption. Its platform of interoperable identity, authentication, and access management solutions enable organizations in over 45 countries to fully manage and secure all enterprise and third-party digital identities by establishing trust between people, technology, and information.
Leveraging Top-Class Digital Identity Services
Imprivata Digital Identity Platform: Firewalls and VPNs were designed to protect traditional IT environments with systems located largely on-premises. Today, people and applications are located everywhere, making digital identity the control plane that must be managed and secured. This complex landscape requires an identity-centric strategy aimed at strengthening an organization’s security posture. That means securing all digital identities at every access point, across all systems. Importantly, this approach enables organizations to reap the benefits of identity-based security without sacrificing user access and efficiency. Improving security and user operational efficiency hinges on the integration of technologies across your IT ecosystem. Imprivata eliminates the multi-vendor, DIY approach with interoperable solutions that provide a level of value not found elsewhere. A Zero Trust security strategy isn't focused on securing the perimeter – it's based on securing the identity. This is a credential user, who by default, is not permitted to see or do anything whether in or outside of the organization's network. Users must be authenticated, authorized, and continuously validated before being granted access to applications and data. In short, a Zero Trust security strategy trusts no one. And cyber insurers love that. Imprivata makes it easier to put Zero Trust into practice.
Lifecycle Management and Automation: Traditional user provisioning is risk-laden and cumbersome, often leaving users over- or under-provisioned. At the same time, manual processes create strain for IT staff and lack visibility to meet compliance requirements. Overcome these limitations by automating the entire user lifecycle, and free up IT resources to focus on high-priority tasks. Every access point is an opportunity for bad actors, yet the tools meant to protect systems and applications often bring user workflows to a halt. Create secure, frictionless access across the enterprise with No Click Access™ to on-premises and cloud applications from any device, anywhere. Protecting your organization means verifying user identities before granting access to critical systems and applications. Enforce strong security with convenient authentication for remote access, cloud applications, IoT/IoMT, and other critical workflows. Imprivata makes secure day-one access a reality. Minimize the risk of data breaches associated with compromised privileged credentials and meet wide-ranging regulatory compliance requirements. Imprivata Privileged Access Management secures your most sensitive accounts in minutes, and an enterprise password vault enables you to securely store and share credentials without disclosing them to internal, external, or remote resources.
Financial Services: Financial organizations continue to be highly-targeted despite heavy investments in cybersecurity. With threats from both third-parties and insiders, these institutions are fighting a war on two fronts while trying to maintain complex regulatory standards. This challenge can’t be solved with traditional security methods. Your financial institution holds rich sources of data in various locations and applications that must be made available to more users from a growing number of devices. That’s a tall order –one that only digital identity can solve. Deliver a frictionless user experience with secure No Click Access® to on-premises and cloud applications from any device, anywhere. Imprivata OneSign® simplifies access control with centralized policy management across your entire financial organization and seamless access to Citrix- or VMware-based virtual desktops. Verify all identities without disrupting user workflows with instant authentication for remote network connections, connected devices, cloud applications, and Windows servers and desktops. Imprivata Confirm ID™ makes security invisible to end users with innovative authentication methods and seamless gateways from Citrix, Cisco, Microsoft, and VMware, among others.
