IT2B-Tecnologia specializes in integrating technologies in various environments and aims to support its customers and partners in transforming to the market's new reality. The company is positioned among the 100 largest IT companies in the Brazilian technology market and is operating with five business lines: Integration, IT & Telecom Outsourcing, Product Sales, Printing, and Specialized Technical Services, which serve both the corporate market and the public sector.
To highlight and further understand what IT2B – Tecnologia stands for and seeks to explore in this segment, I sat down with Carlos Roberto Motti, who serves as the company's Chief Executive Officer.
Q. Where does IT2B-Tecnologia stand at the moment relative to other participants in the industry?
IT2B is among the 100 largest IT companies in the Brazilian market and has maintained this position for 10 years. This shows our ability to grow, evolve and adapt to the market and changes in the scenario. The IT market has changed a lot, but IT2B has managed to differentiate itself in its three lines of action, maintaining commercial and operational management that ensures excellence and quality.
Our main characteristic is to serve large customers and projects, therefore positioned in the high-value market with other differences in the SMB market.
Q. How responsive is IT2B-Tecnologia to the changing needs of its clients?
We can examine this point by the offer and operation. Regarding the offer, we have a business model that supports the client's desire, need, and strategy regarding the way of contracting both capex and opex. We make it possible as sale, rent, or outsourcing in terms that vary from 12 to 60 months and can be a partial or full solution: hardware, software, and services.
Regarding the operation, we understand that unexpected situations arise that were not explained or detailed in the contract. With this, we apply a flexibility policy, always putting the customer in the foreground and seeking first to understand, help and solve. For this, we have an operational model of great autonomy in operations and people, investing heavily in communication and alignment. According to the scenario, people must be connected and understand their roles and responsibilities.
Q. How does IT2B-Tecnologia support its customers and partners in transforming to the new reality of the Digital Transformation Services market?
One of the company's main strategies is to have world-class technological partners, and in recent years we have also connected with startups and new companies that are creating new digital solutions. With this, we make it possible to present our customers with cutting-edge and reliable solutions. We are agnostic first, we understand the need, and we go deeper and design the best solution that will serve the customer to preserve their investment, budget, time, and security.
Q. That's not all IT2B-Tecnologia does. What are its other focus areas?
We are committed to creating new business models and solutions, using our 20 years of experience and ability to integrate hardware, software, services, and tremendous technological partnerships. We have already created business solutions in digital public parking, product virtualization, and other exciting things are on the way.
Q. No doubt IT2B-Tecnologia is charting new territories in this segment. Given how frequently circumstances change, what plans for transformation are you pursuing to remain relevant now and in the future?
We connect and open the doors to work in "business society." The market has a lot of technology generation with the expansion of startups in the last five years, and they need to go to the market and need to have the support of companies with greater operational capacity and experience working in large clients and projects. In this sense, IT2B is well established for joint action.
Q. How do you plan to counter challenges that you think IT2B-Tecnologia might face in the next five years?
Taking advantage of these last two years of the pandemic, we act more focused and solve those problems that there is never time to tackle. As a result, we "cleaned up" and adjusted the operation and management, taking advantage of this period. We are also investing heavily in strategic alignment and communication with the team and improving and bringing commercial and operational management models. In conclusion: conscious planning, organization of processes, and use of methodologies bring efficiency and the ability to act in new scenarios.

Carlos Roberto Motti serves as the Chief Executive Officer of IT2B-Tecnologia. He is an experienced campaigner who has been working in the information technology sector for over 45 years. Prior to this, he has worked in the financial segment for 25 years, five years in the service provision and outsourcing segment (Sonda IT). Mr. Motti has a degree in business administration from FASP with an emphasis on systems analysis, specialization in strategic planning and project management from FGV, marketing from MMS, and technology from FIAP. His other expertise includes business planning, marketing & sales, and service management. Carlos pursued Metanoico by Instituto Cempre for training business leaders of the future.
