50 Best Companies to Watch 2023
The Silicon Review
MFMsoft’s Co-Founder, CEO, and Team Member, Nick Karapetian came from the CPG, Foodservice, Wholesale, Distribution, and Manufacturing industry. Knowing the issues firsthand, Nick collaborated with one of Coca-Colas major bottlers to create Mobi. The intent initially was to create a software solution that can enable CPG Companies to capture their product sales data. Originally MFMsoft built this capability using API and current 3rd party systems. After months of testing with the Coke Bottler and their customers, MFMsoft’s team realized to enable this Coke Bottler and future license holders to scale, they need to look into AI. So in 2022, MFMsoft pivoted and started to create AI driven technology that can enable CPG Companies to seamlessly scale with their customers.
While MFMsoft was building the AI technology version of Mobi, which it calls, Mobi 2.0, the team stumbled into a way that they can also enable CPG Companies to ensure their products existence in their customers online and consumer facing and online menus. And Mobi 2.0, the complete AI-Driven Software, was launched on October 24, 2022 testing with live customers. May 1, 2023, 6-months after the testing and usage of Mobi with this Coke Bottler and their customers, MFMsoft is ready to start licensing Mobi to all CPG Companies, Product and Brand Owners, and Manufactures worldwide.
In conversation with Nick Karapetian, Co-Founder, CEO, and Team Member of MFMsoft
Q. Can you explain about your services in brief?
Mobi AI-Driven Software enables all CPG Companies, Product and Brand Owners, and all Manufacturers to have REAL-TIME access to their brands DATA and presence from their customers digital systems such as POS, ERP, Inventory, Online Menus, and any other system the customer uses to sell Company products. Mobi software is seamless, non-disruptive to the customer, and in minutes links customers systems and Company products. By doing so, through the Mobi dashboard, the Company will capture all their product sales data that their customer has sold. And if the customer systems are online or consumer facing menus, the Mobi AI detects that and instantly injects and keeps customer online menus updated with Company products authorized images and product information. Mobi by MFMsoft licensing model is a flat monthly fee with no additional costs on how many customers Company is linked to or how much DATA they have captured.
Q. How do you monitor the performance of the solution? What guidance and direction did you find most effective to train individuals to use your solution?
Our IT team, starting from our co-founder and CTO, have industry expertise of 25 years plus. So, as they were building the foundational pillars for our Mobi software, they made sure that they created real-time AI monitoring on the Mobi AI. Sounds funny, but they build AI to monitor the AI so that we make sure that in Real-Time there are no issues that don’t get resolved prior to the license holder even realizing an issue happened. The best guidance came to us from an Advisor at Yahoo which he said, “Make sure before you release Mobi by MFMsoft to the industry, you have tested the system for at least 6 months with a major license holder.” So that is exactly what we did. We launched Mobi on October 24, 2022, and after 6 months of live testing, On May 1, 2023, we set out to let the world know of Mobi.
Q. There are other major players in this segment. How do distinguish your services/ standout from the rest?
What Mobi does is unique. Today, outside of Mobi, if a CPG Company like for example Coke wants to get data from their customers, like from a convenience store, they will need to ask the convenience store to manually create an excel file and send them the report. Which is very time consuming, and no customer wants to do that. Or another way is for Coke to API to each customer system, and there is no way that the customer will allow that because then Coke will see all the product sales data from all other brands and companies that have nothing to do with Coke. Or Coke can buy what is called “scan data” from POS companies and others which is very costly, and they are in samples, not in real-time, and usually this is only from major retailers. So, with Mobi, Coke seamlessly links with the customer or in this example the convenience store and they are able to capture ONLY their product sales data in real-time from their customer systems without disrupting the customer and without paying a penny to the POS company for data that actually belongs to Coke.
Q. Do you have any new services ready to be launched?
Mobi by MFMsoft was launched in full service on October 24, 2022. After our testing, as of May 1, 2023, MFMsoft is now bringing Mobi to the market globally. Mobi works in any language in any country.
Q. What does the future hold for your company and its customers? Are exciting things on the way?
We believe that Mobi by MFMsoft will be standard software that every CPG Company, Product and Brand Owners, and Manufacturers will use. Not only is it very or maybe even extremely affordable to license, Mobi is also very simple to use, and every company is going to need a way that they can in real-time capture their products “Sell-In Data” and “Pull-Through Data”, from their customers systems, that is only specific to their company products. The future is great. As only a few weeks has passed since we made Mobi public, we already have multiple licenses being issued.
