With a background rooted in the Human Resources team at Skadden Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in New York City, Natalie Loeb spent a decade honing her skills in developing and facilitating leadership development programs. Drawing from this rich experience, she ventured into entrepreneurship, establishing her own executive coaching business, which eventually evolved into the esteemed institution known as Loeb Leadership.

Meet the leader behind the success of Loeb Leadership

Natalie Loeb stands at the helm of Loeb Leadership as its founder and Co-CEO. This esteemed leadership development and coaching firm, rooted in the U.S., boasts a team of over 100 consultants spanning the U.S. and Europe. As an accomplished entrepreneur and a trailblazer in business, Natalie has cultivated a family-owned enterprise from its inception. Her journey in the field of talent development, coaching, and training spans more than three decades, marking her as a pivotal figure and innovator across the legal domain and various sectors.

Before embarking on her entrepreneurial path, Natalie was integral to the Human Resources department at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP (Skadden Arps) in New York City, where she spearheaded leadership development programs and academies for the firm’s personnel, often providing one-on-one coaching to senior management and leaders. This role provided her with a unique lens to observe the complexities of merging individuals from diverse backgrounds and perspectives within high-pressure environments, a common but challenging expectation in many organizations.

Motivated by her experiences and insights, Natalie made a pivotal move in 1997, leaving Skadden Arps to establish Loeb Leadership. Her vision was to nurture leaders committed to forging meaningful connections, enhancing self-awareness, and harnessing the vitality and resilience necessary to build thriving, effective, and successful companies.

Natalie’s philosophy centers on the significance of intentional leadership and cultivating workplace environments that are welcoming, inclusive, and stimulate excellence. She upholds the belief that with the appropriate tools and mentorship, transformative growth is attainable not just within professional settings, but also within communities, families, and personal spheres.

In her current role, Natalie and her team of adept coaches and consultants collaborate closely with clients on a broad spectrum of services. These range from individual leadership coaching to the bespoke development of organizational management programs, as well as initiating DE&I strategies and transforming workplace cultures. Her work often involves engaging with top executives to evaluate and redefine company culture, leader self-awareness, collaborative practices, role clarity, and streamlining operational processes, among other key objectives.

Natalie holds a Master of Science in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Baruch College in New York City, where she also completed her executive coach training. She is certified in over 15 leadership assessment methodologies. A prolific author on leadership topics, Natalie is a respected voice at legal forums, conferences, and Leadership Roundtables. She serves as a faculty member at the Practising Law Institute (PLI), contributing a monthly column to the PLI Chronicle titled "Coach’s Counsel," which dispenses wisdom to the legal community. Her team’s recent virtual events include explorations of emotional intelligence, the importance of a healthy law firm culture, and the art of active listening for legal professionals.
