The Silicon Review
The proliferation of mobile phone devices and constant access to high-speed internet has made life easy. Today, customers prefer paying bills or ordering food from their smart devices instead of waiting in long queues. It is time to make the most of this changing mindset to achieve a competitive edge in the market. Point of Sale system, a.k.a. POS system, is another revolution in the era where technology is thriving, and businesses are modifying the way they conduct transactions. The existence of POS systems may lead to the end of cash registers, so if you still do not have yours in place, it is high time to give it a second thought. LS Retail specializes in developing Point of Sale (POS) and business management software systems for retail, restaurants, hotels, forecourt and pharmacy based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and .NET technology. LS Retails software solutions have been installed in more than 80,000 stores, restaurants, pharmacies and gas stations in over 140 countries worldwide.
Retail
From fashion retail to grocery, from duty free to specialty stores, the retail industry is highly competitive, fast-paced, and full of challenges. Inventory management is a big pain for retailers. If your customers can't find what they are looking for, you might lose not just a sale, but their business altogether. On the other hand, maintaining a large inventory means tying up considerable working capital, and reducing flexibility and response time in front of market fluctuations. To that you must add industry-specific issues: think seasonality in the fashion industry, outdated items in the tech world, or perishable goods for grocery retailers. On top of that, consumer demands are changing. Retailers who want to be successful need to provide their customers with outstanding shopping experiences in-store, online, and on mobile. Shoppers have come to expect seamless experiences, and demand increasingly personalized offers and services, anytime and anywhere. And if you don’t do it, your competitors will! As simple as that. Discover retail software solutions and POS systems that will help you streamline your business, increase productivity and improve your bottom line. Forget the pains of multiple applications that you have to set up, integrate, learn to use and maintain. With LS Retail you get an all-in-one retail management system to manage your whole enterprise stress-free from your head office. From point of sale (POS) terminals through inventory management, reporting, e-commerce, you can manage your day-to-day retail operations centrally. Grow your business with well-informed business decisions and strengthen your customer base with centrally managed, personalized promotions and campaigns.
Pharmacies
As the world population lives longer, more people make use of medication and health products during their lifetime. The global pharmaceuticals market is already worth US$750 billion a year, and the figure is expected to increase dramatically in the near future. The opportunities are great; but the pharmacy business is tough and competitive. Drugstores must manage and distribute medicinal products according to many complex laws and regulations. This means managing expiry dates effectively, handling prescription drugs according to legislation, calculating prices based on very diverse insurance schemes, and more. Pharmacies are also expected to give competent advice to customers and provide a fast, professional and polite service. On top of that, margins on pharmaceuticals keep on shrinking, making the success of drugstores increasingly dependent on a good selection of retail items alongside medications. Use the system’s in-depth reports to understand your business’s financials and re-order the retail products that will increase your bottom line. Offer deals, promotions and loyalty schemes to increase returning business. Cut your costs and improve your customers’ experience with a fully integrated retail and dispensing software rich with pharmacy-specific functionalities. Manage various types of prescriptions, handle drugs effectively and let the system take care of price calculations based on various insurance schemes.
