“With a mission to clean cities using electric vehicles, Scoobic aligns business objectives with a commitment to sustainability.”

Scoobic was established in response to a unique problem faced by Lola Market, an online supermarket specializing in grocery delivery. Lola Market faced difficulty in the delivery process due to the absence of intermediate-sized vehicles that fall between motorcycles and vans. Motorcycles couldn’t handle the required grocery volume, and vans faced parking challenges in city centers, causing significant time loss for delivery personnel. Recognizing the need for electric urban delivery vehicles that were small, agile, and could easily park near customers’ doorsteps, Scoobic was born to address the inefficiencies in urban deliveries for online grocery services.

The Silicon Review reached out to José María Gómez, founder and CEO of Scoobic, and here’s his response.
