"By delivering our services in a language they understand, we can engage small business owners in the planning and implementation process while teaching them what they need to know."

MarketAtomy is a business growth consultancy committed to enhancing the small business growth rate within the US through education, collaboration, and facilitation. It serves clients across the nation.

MarketAtomy is based in Orlando, Florida.

The Silicon Review reached out to Danna Olivo, founder & CEO of MarketAtomy, and here’s what she had to say.

Interview Highlights

Q. Why was MarketAtomy born? What pain points did you set out to solve?

Most small business owners have a great product or service to offer but do not know anything about scaling their businesses. To address this, MarketAtomy brings education, accountability, and resources to these business owners so that they can see the light at the end of the tunnel because we show them how to maneuver the inertia standing in the way of moving forward.

Put simply, we empower solo and micro-business owners for success through cognitive awareness, focused education, and strategic collaboration.

Q. What strategies does MarketAtomy implement to create awareness, impart relevant education, and foster meaningful collaborations among solo and micro business owners?

Our brand is centered around the ‘MarketAtomy Concept’, which was developed to illustrate the infrastructure of a successful business. It compares a business to the human body. The heart of the human body just like in business speaks to the ‘why.’ It holds the passion and reasoning for why we do what we do. The brain in the human body sends signals to the heart to keep it pumping. Likewise, the brain of the business is where the playbook is stored. It holds the tools needed to back up the ‘why’ like systems, methodologies, product/service offerings, etc. Just like in the human body the brain and heart can’t operate independently of each other. They have to work in tandem to push out the marketing message through the veins of the body (marketing channels) to the body (target market) to successfully attract and convert potential clients. However, the business owner is the soul of the business. It is they who bring the culture and passion.

We, at MarketAtomy, have built an ecosystem that incorporates education, accountability, and resource management. This includes mentoring/consulting on a one-on-one basis that includes 12-month strategic planning, goal setting, and program management to keep clients on track.

We have also designed and built an online learning management system called MarketAtomy Academy that focuses on the educational element. The value brought through the academy is that it is designed specifically for micro-business owners at a price point they can afford. Each course is designed with a learning component and an interactive component, allowing users to walk away with a customized approach to their business.

Finally, we have incorporated a full spectrum of support resources (most of them free) to back up and promote ongoing learning such as a weekly podcast (ChargedUpStudio.live), webinars, an online community, group coaching, and mastermind programs.

Q. Can you introduce us to your innovative services? What are their key features? 5. How does MarketAtomy create and sustain a culture of innovation?

We engage prospects and clients at a level that they can relate to. As a small business owner who has failed twice before, I understand what micro-business owners go through. We, at MarketAtomy, understand that many micro-business owners need a structured approach to growing their small businesses. Therefore, sequencing is key. They often don’t know what to do first or what to do next. We offer a step-by-step approach following our five phases of business growth ‘See It’, ‘Prove It’, ‘Build It’, ‘Fund It’, and ‘Grow It’.

By delivering our services in a language they understand, we can engage small business owners in the planning and implementation process while teaching them what they need to know.

Q. Will MarketAtomy be expanding, bringing on any new services that we should be aware of?

MarketAtomy is introducing an assessment product called the Business Healthcheck Assessment by the first quarter of 2023. This product is designed to assess existing micro-businesses across 20 different interdependent KPIs to identify where gaps are in the overall structure of the business. This information can then be utilized to develop a plan to help close the gaps, providing a platform for growth. This assessment will also provide needed data for research on micro business that is desperately needed right now.

Q. What's the one thing you want MarketAtomy to be known for?

We want to be known for being the resource for small business owners as we help reduce the number of failed small businesses…and believe that doing so will only positively impact the nation’s GDP, labor force, and the psyche of the business owners and their family units.

Q. Is there anything else you want us to highlight that we might have missed?

Ultimately, we would like to work with federal and state leaders to implement a bill that will provide incentives for micro-business owners who have demonstrated that they have done the work (education, certification, etc.) for launching and growing their small businesses.
