The Silicon Review
Mobix Labs, Inc. – A Global Connectivity Solutions Provider for Wireless 5G and Wired High Bandwidth Cable Networks
Technology has expanded to include wireless as well as traditional wired capabilities, and today we communicate in many different ways with people all over the world. The current volume of daily wired/wireless communications is staggering. Semiconductors for wireless communications enable seamless communication with other wireless enabled devices. Wireless local area network (WLAN) adapters or WLAN cards utilize these chipsets for the high-speed transfer of data. Semiconductors for wireless communications include products such as cellular baseband processors, mobile Wi-Fi chips, Bluetooth transceivers, global positioning system (GPS) receivers, and near-field communication chips and others. Moreover, semiconductor vendors are currently advancing their offerings by integrating Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on the same silicon making them cheaper.
Mobix Labs, Inc. is a fabless semiconductor company focused on developing highly innovative RF and Mixed Signal components and solutions for simplifying the development and maximizing the performance of existing and next generation wireless products. The company simplifies the development and maximizes the performance of existing and next generation wireless products by innovating and delivering high performance, cost effective, and ultra-compact components and solutions for simplifying the development and maximizing the performance of existing and next generation wireless products. Led by a team of highly experienced and accomplished industry executives, Mobix Labs is establishing itself as the go to leader of RF, Mixed Signal, Antenna components and solutions for the sub-8GHz 5GNR, Wi-Fi 6E, SATCOM and emerging mmWave 5G, 6G, Terahertz markets, and beyond.
Manufacturing Industry-Leading Wireless and High Bandwidth Products
True Xero Active Optical Cables: Anywhere a powerful, lightning-fast connection is needed – in home theaters, conference room video systems, gaming or virtual reality environments, digital signage, medical displays, classroom setups, and more – Mobix Labs True Xero AOC cables can make fiber optic connectivity an affordable reality. Mobix Labs full line of MSA-compliant enterprise transceivers, AOCs and DACs provide optimal performance for server-switch ToR (top of rack) and intra-rack interconnects, from 10G up to 400G applications for faster interconnects between servers, switches and storage. Its HDMI AOCs are also the ideal connection for 4K gaming systems, enabling true 4K UHD resolution from video game and augmented/virtual reality consoles to 4K-enabled displays and TVs – without the proximity barrier inherent in copper cables. The company is playing an integral role in DisplayPort’s momentum by supplying the cables that deliver all of the power, performance and distance it needs.
True 5G Chipset: Mobix Labs True5GTM chipset features an industry leading single sku approach designed to minimize chip count while providing optimum performance over mmWave 5GNR-FR2 bands: n257, n258, n259, n260, and n261. Designed in Bulk CMOS, the True5GTM chipset features ultra-broadband coverage in a highly cost-effective, scalable solution ideally suited for multiple applications including automotive, small cells, repeaters, access points, industrial IoT, medical, and consumer products.
Mobix Labs’ series of embedded surface mount antennas offer wide bandwidth, high gain, and high efficiency in a small, low-profile form factor. These PCB antennas have an omni-directional radiation pattern for maximum coverage and the capability to support multiple frequency bands including 5GNR-FR1, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth, LTE, and ZigBee applications. Also the company’s lineup of Beamformers, Transceivers, RF & Mixed Signal semiconductors, and Antennas lay the foundation of the True5G™ solutions that will simplify ODMs’ and OEMs’ product developments and accelerate their time to market.
